I didn't claim it on my application in the section below. i wonder if this is okay? or should i withdraw my appli...

Re: Passport and travel history lost - ILR

Hi I lost my passport in 2017 and have just got An approval for my ILR (set o tier 2)application. I would suggest you to get a new passport ASAP first. Your list of things some are not necessary 1) Police report of lost passport 2) SAR report (no need. Ho has all records) 3) Statutory Declaration (w...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

It’s an email from ‘home office altas’
home.office.atlas@notifications.service.gov.uk

I used the same address for UKvcas and ukvi.

Ukvi /ho is the decision maker. I don’t think it is relevant to UKvcas and it is pointless for ukvi to reach applicants through UKvcas

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi I’ve been checking the timeline thread but it only shows good news there. (They all seem to get a decision in 1-3 working days) I wonder if anyone is in a similar situation like me. I applied set o on 22nd June. Case officer emailed me after a week. I had my biometric appointment on 14th August ...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I had an appointment this morning. I took all my documents. The staff browsed through my upload. She told me police registration has to be under other category, therefore she scanned it and added it. Better to bring all with you. Did they check all the documents (one by one) to see if there is any ...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

It will be interesting to see when IDV App becomes available.... If by remain OPT-IN - the applicant gets no benefit of quick biometrics (as compared to OPT-OUT or not eligible for reuse) then what's the point of this new approach? 1. It has been clearly stated in their email that the benefit is: i...

Hi all, I am currently on Tier 2 General and submitted my application for Set (LR) on 10th July. I opted out of the IDV app on 6th August, well before the 10th August deadline. I called up the UKVCAS call centre today, waited for almost an hour in the queue only to be told that they have no visibil...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

The forecast on when more centres will open keeps changing. This is utter incompetence and total disrespect to the applicants, who are paying customers. Since UKVI has created a monopoly of UKVCAS, there is nothing an applicant can reasonably do, other than keep getting false & misleading informati...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I am waiting patiently and hoping that we will get biometrics invitation email soon. However, by analysing all situation, it seems that many people have opted out and UKVCAS fell into another trouble. They asked people to optout by sending emails which looks like a manual process and is only approp...
