FLR-M renewal for spouse. Concern regarding financial requirement

Hi all, I would like some advice. I'm a British National who is applying for my spouse's FLR M renewal. I'm the sole earner who is on a job paying well above the financial requirement but have decided to quit as the working environment is not for me. By god's grace, I have consistently been in perma...

Re: New role while awaiting ILR decision

Hi Newbie, I can tell you from my personal experience, I am unable to work for any other company other than my existing Tier 2G sponsor until my ILR is approved. It should not stop you from sitting for interviews as long as you are upfront with prospective employers and explain the situation. In my ...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Feeling very positive after seeing a 13th October approval for SET LR which means it is definitely moving at a good speed. Fingers crossed I, and others like me, see quick approvals in the coming days. Honestly, this thread provides me with a bit more calm and better sleep at night. Cannot wait to t...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi everyone, am I right in thinking the ILR(LR) hasn't got too many applications for October and November 2020 or is it just that not much people from those two months have posted on this forum? If there are actually less application than we might get quicker decision compared to August and Septemb...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I'm also in this position over Set (M), being the partner of an applicant who applied Sep 2nd so we are over 5 months now, and nothing from HO. We will probably wait a bit before going down the MP escalation route, but I too am baffled as to why Set (O) and (LR) processes in 2-3 months typically. T...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

My fellow SET M & SET LR friends, so we still don’t have an explanation as to why our applications are taking far longer than SET O despite paying the same amount? HO should be ashamed and frankly speaking, someone there should be losing their job, no priority service and you have to be locked down...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Congrats poper, so happy for you and glad your ordeal is over! I must say, I always wish well for everyone but having seen SET O applicants get approvals in 2 month and talk about the stress they have to go through is a bit comical when SET LR applicants have 4+ month waits. Don't mean anyone offen...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

@swissman20, @poper and @Aksrava - Correct, currently running at around 125-130 days for Set LR. It is possible that the case load post August is lower and decision times may start reducing steadily. August end had the highest number of Set LR applications since last March (at least from what was r...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

For the LR applications, is the backlog/decision time improving or getting worse now since covid? From my research it seems to have gone from 5 months (first lockdown) to 3-4 months now (only know this by looking at the threads). I’m wondering whether Christmas would’ve put a dent in catching up wi...

@poper - haha, I know! August and September (together) Set LR summary below. These are only the ones that have been reported.
