Spouse visa - would it help if my wife works in her home country?

Let's say I'm earning the financial requirement for a UK Spouse Visa. My wife currently is not working in her home country of Kazakhstan. Would it help her case if she got a job in KZ? Further, how would her having a job affect the possibility of getting a visit visa?

Re: Spouse visa financial requirement for self-employed - minimum per month or per full financial year?

Hi there, This may have a simple answer but if I'm wanting to meet the financial requirement for a spouse visa of £18,600 with self-employed earnings, does my evidence need to show that A) I earned at least a certain amount every month? Or B) simply that I earned a total of at least £18,600 in a ye...

Re: Visit visa for wife

You have answered your own question. An ECO will see the application of a wife with a husband in the UK and who plans to move to the UK eventually anyway as a means of bypassing the Immigration Rules. It will almost certainly end up in a refusal. A history of compliance with previous visit visas de...

Re: Cash savings for spouse visa?

Kazakhstan is the first country in the world to have re-entered full national lockdown due to the dire situation there. How can it be defined as a “safe place to return”? Well to keep it precise, the spouse visa will have to be applied from outside of UK and presently there are no chances of any li...
