Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

If i remember correctly, IDV was applicable till Sep 3rd week applications only - please correct me. In which case its a 2 weeks of backlog and after that we saw a number of quick decisions who applied in sep end/ oct start for SeT O I am hoping they get over with the IDV backlog and move to physic...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

A more niche question to you. How long did it take HO to clear out June applications? It will be interesting to see this trend for July as well when HO move on to August applications. This will tell us if HO are catching up or mainitaining the 3-4 months lag between application submission to decisi...

Re: **** COVID19 Biometrics appointments and UKVCAS ***** (Discuss here ONLY)

Any more decisions from March-July IDV or dual submissions? Seems like HO is on a break.. :o I applied on 19 June and submitted facial images and documents verification on 4 September. Heard nothing since then. I decided to book for an appointment and got a free appointment in Birmingham just now (...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

My case is very much similar. Submitted my biometrics on idv 3weeks back and no response. So decided to book an appointment and enrolled it on 25/sep. However my father is very very sick (in India) and I need to travel within this week. Could anyone confirm the right person to escalate my case as I...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I sent two separate emails to both CIH and UKVCAS in the past 3 weeks requesting help in processing the application due to an urgent need to do an urgent operation in my home country. The visa processing is done by UKVI not UKVCAS. You may want to consider writing a cover letter with medical emerge...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I have just submitted my biometrics via IDV app. Let's hope for the best. 'd like to report that I (ILR Set(O) with 5 dependants applied on 19 June) received the IDV app invite yesterday (4 September at 17.28 pm). I sent two separate emails to both CIH and UKVCAS in the past 3 weeks requesting help...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Frustrating wait continues for the IDV invite! IDV invites have almost dried up it seems for the last 3 days. Very few people have reported invites yesterday. UKVCAS has not even posted a new updated explaining the current situation. Are they going to send all the pending invites on the last day (7...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

No email, no update from UKVCAS or UKVI. Frustration continues, its last day (23rd July) to receive any update for many June applicants like me. Checked UKVCAS portal many times but its not showing any appointment. This is crazy. Last day to receive any email for booking appointment was yesterday i...

I received an email with subject COVID-19: Update as a result of new UKVI Policy for biometric reuse. Applied on 18th June for naturalisation and previously submitted biometrics for ILR last year. I just received the 'biometric reuse' email as well. It says that we have to wait for further email to...

I applied on 19 June, but I haven't receive any emails for booking appointment or reusing biometric. I received an email from case worker to send the documents to them on the 24th of June. I just log in to UKVCAS and checked the documents I uploaded a long time ago. I found an instruction to confirm...
