Re: Foreign Birth Registration

I was just starting to get excited; September application… I am realizing folks seem to be getting a specific “documents received” email… I applied late august 2020; mailed my documentation on the first of September. Re: Foreign Birth Registration

the fact that they’re beginning to ignore individual requests is crazy, especially for people who submitted in 2020! the website, the “hotline”, the contact #s and emails, in addition to oireachtas, give us no information. many of us are well past the two year mark. i’ve been telling my family “any ...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

i read a few months ago that there were a few official bags that the dfa uses to transport documents that were “lost.” i am hoping yours was not in those. the fact that they have not contacted you and you are having to chase them down when they also have all of your information stored electronically...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Hello all. I live in the US and was a lurker on this thread for a few months last year. At some point around August/September, some users commented that the FBR office appeared to be processing applications despite the website still saying they weren't accepting documentation, and that if you had y...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

seriously, don’t worry if you haven’t received an email saying they’ve received your documents. i never received one, but contacted them on webchat and they assured me that they did indeed receive them. they are so overwhelmed with applications, the website says they do not reach out (it’s to cover ...

SURELY the first thing the staff must do is scan these to digitize them for future generations and applications i...

not sure how much longer it’s going to take. i’m right there with you being a spring ‘20 applicant. from what it sounds like here, they are still going through summer ‘19 apps. if they extend this current lockdown to easter it’s going to increase all of our waits even more. my partner and i are sepa...
