Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe

My single question and i need straight answer!! Citizenship is a privilege and if you don't agree with the process involved in obtaining citizenship then why do you go for it? Don't come back to me saying fair process is your right, it's misinterpreting the basic concept of citizenship being a privi...

Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe

Unnecessary blaming and moaning never helps. Ireland have granted you Citizenship and it's a life sentence and punishment? Why don't you please renounce it and will be free to walk on earth. I have attented ceremony at 20th June. I have send an email nearly everyday last 2 weeks. There is no even 1 ...

It's employer's job to act as an employer and not as a friend trying to import a friend over from elsewhere in the world.

Re: My work permit is rejected in Ireland, please help me.

You can not provide any evidence to address this issue, in my opinion. Your employer appears dodgy and has tried to trick department, unfortunately. Sorry not being rude.

Re: IRP Renewal and payslips

You can always get back to work. Sequence of events normally is to get a job offer and get permission extension. If you would have shown your intention by supplying the job offer letter and asked for permission extension, things would have been straightforward i guess.

Re: IRP Renewal and payslips

Immigration officers have right to ask for documents that are not in the so-called checklist whenever they're not satisfied with extending permissions. Also stamp-4 is not an auto-renewal stamp unless obtained on family basis (conditions apply)

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023

Very valid question. I guess you handover the declaration after signing it at reception and then it might not be mandatory to participate in whole ceremony. But i have no proof or prior experience. Someone who has attended these sort of ceremonies can shed light on how it works

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023

I am not sure if a virtual account like Revolut is a problem. Hope so. My money was taken in Mid Feb 2023 and acknowledgement issued! Ouch! Honestly, as that's the second ceremony you could be missing (or were you invited to one in March, RDS?), I would send an email to ISD enquiring about your sta...

I am not sure if a virtual account like Revolut is a problem. Other side has a choice of not taking the money out for any reason.
