EU settled status for (un)married partner eligibility

Hi, I’ve done two phone calls this morning to the resolution centre and heard two completely different opinions from them. I am an EU national (settled); my (currently) wife is non-EU (pre-settled). Timeline: May 2015 - relationship began (unmarried) September 2015 - partner moves to the UK on a tie...

Re: Tier 4 to EU family member residence card - EUSS

If she is uncomfortable having only electronic status and EEA RC card, and she wants a card issued under the EUSS, she will have to apply to convert her EE RC card into a EUSS card , this involves new biometrics. Thanks so much for the reply! I really appreacitae the straight-forward answer to the ...

Tier 4 to EU family member residence card - EUSS

Question: as I understand, even though she has been in the UK for over 5 years (tier 4 student), but only got her EU residence card yesterday, we a...

EEA Unmarried partner application with expiring tier 4 = overstayed?

Hello, I am aware this question has been raised multiple times on this forum, and it is clear that a tier 4 visa converting into an EEA EFM (unmarried partner) residence card is not covered under section 3c. However I am still puzzled whether my unmarried partner (non-EU. "the applicant") can remain...

Re: EEA EFM - social media logs

In the past 2 years she did quite a number of trips, mostly 1-2 weeks, but during the summer she usually travels for 1-2 months. Either way, we already submitted the application with chat logs for ALL absences (to be on the safe side), but the question remains if we should follow-up with the same l...

Re: EEA EFM - social media logs

Sorry, I should have mentioned - we live together for more than 4 years with all the relevant responsibilities (except having a child). The chat logs I am asking about relate to times when we were apart (my GF had a number of trips alone to see her family) In that case looks like you are eligible. ...

Re: EEA EFM - social media logs

First and foremost: How do you qualify as durable partners? Just being long-distance boyfriend/girlfriend or gay couple is not enough. You need to have lived together for at least two years while sharing proven financial responisbilities (joint bank account, joint bills, joint rent or mortgage, joi...

EEA EFM - social media logs

Hi. We are applying for an EEA EFM residence card application as durable partners, and one of the requirements is: "Evidence of how you have kept in contact with each other during periods in which you have not lived together – for example, letters, printouts of emails or contact via social media, mo...
