Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

How many people are still waiting from March/April/May applicants? I'm a June applicant myself and this is getting ridiculous. Timeline thread and replies here seems to have trickled to naught as well. Is whole UKVI on holiday now? As someone else mentioned before, please provide your feedback to t...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

UKVI have told us that they aim to deal with ALL applications in date order That is not true I think, the random order of decisions speaks volumes Two of my colleagues got their decisions and cards before me but they sent their application after me. Our applications are similar even regarding the s...

I'm still waiting (have been refreshing right to work page and my inbox every 15 minutes today!
This is literally my life right now. They probably think its a DDOS attack for how often I'm refreshing. Though I still have managed to memorise my BRP number.

I submitted my application on 30 June and submitted my biometrics via UKVCAS only on 28 August. I am still waiting.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hello Guys I have applied for ILR SET(O) Tier 2 Gen on 1st July and submitted all documents subsequently when I got the submit button available. Opted out of IDV App on 7th Aug and Booked an In person Bio metric appointment on 28th August and submitted bio metrics. Since then I don't see any update...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Just anecdotal evidence, I have noticed the same, but I think that what I see about the majority of super quick turnarounds is for Tier 2 -> Set(O) ILR and Tier 2 related stuff in general. I have a feeling they're trying to process those kinds of applications faster than anything else because it is...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

If its any consolation Klownking I deliberately paid for in-person biometrics as I urgently need a decision. That was at the end of August and still no decision. So difficult to gauge their approach.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Although some of the applicants have been VERY lucky to receive very quick decisions after biometrics, you have to understand that NOT everyone get a quick decision and mileage may vary case to case. Every case is decided on its own merits. You may think your case is straight forward but ANY single...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi everyone -- is there anyone who submitted biometrics in August who are still waiting for a decision letter? I'm a June applicant and deliberately opted out of the app based on the implication that a decision would come quicker w/ an in-person appointment. I have an exceedingly straightforward ap...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

On the topic of dealing w/ solicitors + intermediaries. Could anyone who's recently received an ILR decision (but not yet received their BRP card) check whether their current or new details show when going to this link? https://right-to-work.service.gov.uk/prove I've read elsewhere that this updates...

Re: Question about status of approval letter

To err on the side of caution it's always better to wait until you have your BRP in your hand. With regards to your question specifically about the approval letter, I will let someone else with more experience chime in. Just curious though, even if there is another round of redundancies in mid/late...

Question about status of approval letter

Hi all — posting as a new topic so as to respect the sticky on biometrics and timeline. I am applying for ILR Set O. My biometrics appointment is next Friday. I am hoping (knock on wood and fingers crossed) the turnaround times for mu decision is within the average 1-4/5 working days that people hav...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Have any June applicants still not received any confirmation on biometric re-use or appointments? Applied 30 June, docs uploaded to system and in response to case officer request. Still nada. Seems a bit odd given how many other June and now July applicants have heard back.
