Re: ILR for HSMP (1+3+3(Tier1 general) migrants)

Thanks, this information is very helpful. In theory, you will fall into the category ii who should be able to apply the ILR under this ILR JR. However, I know what you mean because in this same policy document, page 2, paragrpah 5a does say "The migrant has spent a continuous period of four years la...

Re: ILR apply in person vs. sending by post

Hi Chetanojha, I take the over 6 months waiting time you were talking about is the queue for booking an in-person appointment, isn't it ? Or is it the waiting time after the interview before you get your passport back ? Thanks / Kelvin Hi Kelvin, In person application is a premium service. The advan...

ILR apply in person vs. sending by post

Hi guys, I've been reading lots of threads in this forum and had the impression that most of the guys would prefer to apply in person when it comes to ILR. I am wondering what advantage it can give over that of sending by post ? Is it really worth paying extra 200 pounds to do it ? Of course, I don'...

You might not be qualified for 4 years period, but you've also benefited from this JR that has granted you a qualified period of 5 years for ILR. Regards / Kelvin Great news that the HSMP prior to 3rd April have a chance to get the ILR backdated. In this instance where the HSMP application was refus...

I don't disagree with you in terms of the fact that you can make a good life in UK too if you are capable of it. My point is, you will have much greater chance to have a much better life living in US than UK after putting the same degree of your effort, or much less struggling. Personally, I will de...

I've been to US myself though didn't stay very long but still, long enough to perceive the difference between US and UK. Go to US, my friend - it is a place where the sky is the only limit of your ambition, if you get Canada passport later on, you can freely seek employment in US. Having said that, ...

Kelvin, Thanks for the reply, i understand what you've mentioned regarding Transitional Arrangements but again i'm not even thinking about TA because you need to look in to it if you can't score 75 points by yourself. Currently i'm scoring 100 points under Tier-1, the only problem i'm having is how...

Hi Tyce, I don't think HSMP visa will limit your freedom of working in another place as long as you get WP for that country, in terms of this, I believe there won't be anything happening to your HSMP visa. However, the real problem will come eventually when you try to renew your HSMP visa or apply f...

I am starting up my self-employed business as well, just wondering what is your Unaudited Business Accounts (it seems you have maintained a separate business account on top of your Business Banking Account) ? Is it a special software like Microsoft Money ?

Yes, I agree with what EdgeHillMole said. I can hardly believe HO won't change anything before they launch the PBS on next March given the current circumstance that HO will have a big chance to lose the tribunal if they will remain everything unchanged. The only alternative for HO to avoid such an e...

Unfortunately, the ILR 4-5 case has been lost... However, as long as I understand, the HSMP Forum JR is still due to full hearing within two months time, isn't it ? To me (if I didn't take it wrong), the HSMP JR will have more chance to win than the lost ILR JR case because apart from the same hards...
