Hi!

My first passport application has finally moved to printing stage.

Can anyone advise what the next stage is? Will it be dispatched and do they provide a tracking number?

Does someone have to be thete to sign?

Thank you

Re: How to deal with Irish Passport Office

Just to add, not objecting your case or anything. You are not considered Irish Citizen just with Naturalization Certificate. To be considered Irish Citizen, you need ID card/passport, and passport office is the one issuing this document to you. That's not true. The period between receiving your nat...

Re: Sending IPR Card after Approval letter.

You need to give it back in order to receive the naturalization certificate.

Most likely they'll ask you for it in the website and won't send you the certificate until they receive it

Re: Ireland - First time passport applications timelines -2021

My husbands first time Irish passport (done online) had an estimated date of the 28/1/22. Its now 4 weeks overdue. I am so nervous whether or not we should use the webchat to chase it up... I was fine before, as a few people stated theirs were 4 weeks or 5 weeks late. But now seeing people who appl...

Re: Ireland - First time passport applications timelines -2021

They are so disconnected from reality. Because one of the requirements for naturalization is not be on the welfare. So how age you gonna have a letter from them. An revenue is all online now, but they don't accept print outs What a joke. To anybody asked to resubmit proof of name/address and applied...

Just to add, they did approve mine based on great great grandparents but like they say everyone's application acn be different. I work for an Irish charity as well so I think that added more weight to the decision. My advise would be just give it a try once you have 3 years. Worse case scenario afte...

Ah I'm sorry, I didn't realise about the link. Thanks!

I managed to get my embassy to write an email which I print and sent with the docs saying that the birth certificate even though is a copy is a valid one and the only type my country provides. It has been translated, certified and how to validate online. So that should be enough hopefully

In passport tracking it appears they are still waiting for my additional docs. Does anyone knows how long it takes between the post delivers it and they update that in the tracker?

Living abroad after naturalisation due to Irish associations

Can someone confirm that if you are giving citizenship based naturalization due to Irish associations you don't have to register every year if you move abroad?

I'm not considering right now, just want to make sure

Thanks
