I got my overseas application approved on 17.11 (passport printed and sent too, per website status) and my passport still hasn't been delivered. The most interesting thing is that I can see my details here https://delivery.tnt.com/tracking/ - which is used for deliveries within the UK. I'm wondering...

Good morning everyone,
HO can reissue your naturalisation certificate if it's damaged or lost - my question is - has anyone applied for it? How long do you need to wait until you receive it? Is it sent directly to your home address? Thank you and stay safe!
Good morning everyone, I was going through the British passport processing times thread and I noticed that there are hardly any people who sent their documents to HMPO Liverpool. According to the thread there, other HMPOs process applications within maximum 3 weeks, whereas for HMPO Liverpool it tak...

Hi everyone. I had sent an email to citizenship.support@homeoffice.gov.uk enquiring about my certificate and they replied only after 2 months. However, the reply was exhillarating and most importantly spot on - I got my letter after 6 working days and the certificate was with my council the day bef...

Got my invitation letter today too! Approved in May, the date on the letter is September 10. So happy, I can finally book my ceremony (my council emailed me today too, confirming receipt of my certificate). Good luck everyone, they are definitely working on this backlog. Can you please post the nam...

Hi folks, I emailed HO on 4th of August asking for an update and I got "that" automated reply like ya all. Yey ! They replied after 1 month   Here's the email. It came at 6:39 PM 15th. Good evening, Thank you for your email. Upon investigation I can confirm that your citizenship ceremony...
Submitted application first week of March along with biometrics. Approval email received 2nd June. Citizenship ceremony invitation letter received in the post 3rd September; dated 24th August. Bedfordshire council didn't book the appointment until I had received the letter. Hope this helps. I'm in ...
I have the feeling there’s no such thing then a 12 week rule at all. Just reading about someone being approved 10 days ago and has their ceremony this week. Besides I know people who wait since 14, 16 weeks and also by contacting they still aren’t offered ceremonies. Well, it's my week 15 since the...
I wish the Home Office updated their website and included any info as to when people can expect their certificates. You guys have mentioned 8-12 weeks, but starting from when - is it even official info? Where can one read about this on any offcial site? Wouldn't updating the HO's webpage be easier t...
I also contacted my MP today. It's been 13 weeks (!) since my application has been approved in May and not a single update from the Home Office. My local Council has been performing citizenship ceremonies for weeks now (private AND public) and this long futile wait is just an absurd. I don't hold m...
Reply from the home office: Thank you for your enquiry. Your application for British citizenship has been successful. Please be assured that a citizenship ceremony invitation will be issued to you by post within the next 8 – 12 weeks. You are required to attend a citizenship ceremony within 6 month...

I think that 'you should get you invitation letter within 12 weeks of receiving your decision' rule doesn't apply in current circumstances. It's fascinating (and confusing at the same time) how some people have received their invitation letters already, despite getting their decision later than mine...
Got approved on 15 May, sent them an email in July and few days ago, received identical answers both times: "I refer to your application for British Citizenship and your email enquiry. Upon investigation I can confirm that your citizenship ceremony documents have not yet been printed or despatched ...
Hi there everyone, hope you're all fine. I got my application approved on May 21 and I'm still waiting for my invitation letter to arrive. I contacted my council several times (they have resumed ceremonies already) asking if they have my certificate yet - still not there. I need to admit I'm getting...
