Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I received the ILR approval email at 10.42 this morning from the email address UKVISETM@homeoffice.gov.uk. SET (M) application decisions seem to have been very slow in coming - mine has taken 5 months and 1 week since the original application date of 1st May 2020. I used the IDV app on 27 August 202...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

They are definitely dealing with different categories separately. It seems like SET(O) is a very fast running pace. They even receive approval emails on Sat/Sun, evening, night... Nothing to do from SET(LR) and SET(M) applicants but to wait. As a SET (M) applicant who applied on 1st May, submitted ...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

How many people are still waiting from March/April/May applicants? I'm a June applicant myself and this is getting ridiculous. Timeline thread and replies here seems to have trickled to naught as well. Is whole UKVI on holiday now? As someone else mentioned before, please provide your feedback to t...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Wasn’t it in one of the last flash messages, they mentioned ukvi will get to us within the next two weeks for applicants who submitted through idv app? They took a U-turn on that.. The only good news i saw was that and yet they don’t disappoint us in disappointing Yes, I saw that too and luckily I ...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I would suggest: Anyone (March - July) who has been waiting for a decision over 3/4 weeks after submitting biometrics via IDV app from 17th Aug onwards should test their luck via the appointment dual submission. There is no guarantee it will work for all but may work for you. Best if you look for a...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

SET (M) application submitted on 1st May. Evidence documentation previously uploaded and submitted using UKVCAS online account. Biometrics submitted using IDV app on 27th August. Still waiting. It does appear that those of us who have used the IDV app for providing biometrics instead of a UKVCAS app...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I applied for SET (M) and also registered with UKVCAS on 1st May. I received the subsequent UKVCAS emails about the re-use of biometrics and then about the option of using the IDV app. I have already uploaded the required supporting evidence/documentation to the UKVCAS account and submitted it. But ...
