I submitted my application on 20 June and submitted biometrics via the IDV only on 30 August. I am still waiting.

Did you receive a combined approval / ceremony invitation letter? I am on a similar timeline as you (applied June 20, IDV submission 30 August) so really pleased to see you got something (anything!) today.
