Re: Passport Application Discussion 2022

It shouldn't take more than a day from anpost to show up your tracking details. After 24hs if you don't see anything call them. This is incorrect. It could take a few days for it to show up, even though it could be as fast as the next day. Feel free to take a look at the Passport First Time Passpor...

Re: Passport Application Discussion 2022

Thanks for the reply! Could I just ask where that information is from? On my application form it says the following: 1) Citizenship and identity documents: passport or national ID card. If resident outside of the state, certified copies of ID are accepted. But then on the citizenship category docum...

Re: Passport Application Discussion 2022

Hi, I just received my foreign birth registration confirmation and am now applying for the passport. I haven't really looked into the process before now, but I seem to remember people saying a verified copy of your birth country passport may be submitted instead of the original passport, is this co...

Re: Transiting through UK with Irish Stamp 4 visa

It's best to use this operational document from the UK Home Office instead of the website (which is confusing). This is what they give out to airlines and border agents as the reference document. The chart clearly shows that transit to Ireland by entering CTA using an Irish IRP is allowed: https://a...

FBI Background Check/Fingerprinting Experience

I applied and paid for the the background check online and went to the local Garda station for fingerprinting. The cos...

Are citizenship application being processed during the lockdown?

Re: Ireland Stamp4 visa continuity being outside of Country

Many in my company are absent way more than 3 months pre-COVID, and the company also allows people to go back to home country since March with immigration attorney approved their cases. Did you just say that you're required to ask your company or a solicitor for a permission to visit your home coun...

Re: Ireland Stamp4 visa continuity being outside of Country

Many in my company are absent way more than 3 months pre-COVID, and the company also allows people to go back to home country since March with immigration attorney approved their cases. The...
