The longest that has been with me was 2 days. Usually they do it within 1 to 2 days. But it may take a few days due to COVID.

Re: Visa Refused Tier 4 and Tier 4 Dependant

Because you had to show all money in your account as you were the main applicant. That’s incorrect. There’s a choice. Appendix E (f) In all cases, the funds in question must be available to: (i) the applicant, or (ii) where they are applying as the partner of a Relevant Points Based System Migrant ...

How is Visa Officer right in this case. I held more than 11385 gbp in my account and my husband held more than 7605 gbp in his bank account.
Is that not correct ?
Because you had to show all money in your account as you were the main applicant.

Re: Maintenance Fund and Fees for Tier 4

To be on the safer side only show 2 to 3 thousand pound extra than required More nonsense. You can say that. I'm telling you from experience. let me give you an example. If you show about PKR 0.3 million in your name and you say it's your personal savings and your salary is 0.1m per month when you'...

Re: Maintenance Fund and Fees for Tier 4

One more thing, please avoid showing too much extra money in your account. It doesn't guarantee success of your application. In contrast, it do have some negative impact. I have seen people getting their visas rejected because of showing double the amount required. This is nonsense. The refusal let...

Re: Tier 4 general

That's terrible. Did she receive any details from university to start the course online until she gets the visa? And was she interviewed on the day of biometric as well? I wasn't, which was a bit strange for me because I have been a tier 4 student before and they used to take the skype interview on ...

Tier 4 general

Can anyone who applied for TIER 4 general share their timeline as I'm wondering if there's a delay in visa processing amidst COVID-19.

I applied today from Islamabad and asked the staff, he said 15days which I don't believe after going through a few posts on this page.

Timelines appreciated.

Re: Tier-4 Student (General) Visa with Dependent

Thanks a lot for the reply !!! To be precise, I have my own funds on my name to cover both the remaining fees + living expenses & my husband has more than enough funds set by UKVI on his name to cover his and kids living expenses and he also presented an "Affidavit of Support" to the kids. So, nowh...
