don't want to get your hopes up, but sounds exactly the same as when hubby got his spouse visa.
He dropped his passport in the morning and went back in the afternoon and collected his visa and passport. He was then on the 1st flight he could get back to the UK.

He only got the visa for one month. We were hoping it would be for longer.

We provided all the holiday booking/flight information and insurance, but the lady rudely said we didn't need to provide all of that!

My hubby got his schengen visa for 1 month to go to Spain. Would we be able to go to France for the day with this visa? I must say the Spanish Embassy was a nightmare and the staff were very rude. They kept him waiting for 2 hours in the corridor to collect the visa!! He felt that they could not fin...

First of all congratulations!

Could you share with us what evidence you provided? Did you have all things in joint names?
Just preparing for husbands ILR in 2009 and any suggestions/experiences are really helpful and positive.

There is currently no time limit on the test.
My husband took it for the 1st time on Monday and passed, he will be applying for ILR in July 2009.

We have booked the holdiay and we are going to be making an appointment at the embassy, asap.

Is there a time limit on when u can get the visa before travelling?

Spainish Schengen Visa- Help.....

I am not getting very far with the embassy phone line. And at £1 a minute all I am getting is an automated voice!!
It would be so much easier with just the EU dependent requirements, are u sure?

Does any have experience with Spanish embassy and schengen visas for spouses of UK citizens?
