Re: Citizenship Applications From 2020 Pending Approval

Sent the affidavit and loyalty form today....when do people think they will send naturalisation cert ? That's exciting! A friend mentioned that it took him 3 weeks to get the certificate after sending the declaration. One question: are they still asking to send the physical IRP card as well via the...

Received an e-vetting form a couple of weeks back. Signed and sent it back the very same day. No news since then.

Any update so far?
Nope. Just silence.
Received a link from Garda to submit eVetting application on 20.07.2021

It might depend on what you are asking in your email. Some emails are replied instantly, some are replied in a month, some are never replied.

Re: E vetting and citizenship application

I was requested to submit an eVetting form at the beginning of June. Folks are writing that they are receiving a link from Garda shortly after and then receiving approvals. But there was no action on my application--no follow ups on eVetting, no approval.

Re: Children naturalization application

Maybe that has already been asked, but I wasn't lucky to find the answer, so I'll ask it here: if a naturalised parent makes an application for a minor and then the family leaves Ireland for a few years, will the child's application still be approved?

Re: Travel without Gnib card

You are kinda contradicting yourself. First you are saying that Stamp 6 has no relations to re-entry visa whatsoeverwrittenincapitals, and in the next sentence you are recommending to use re-entry visa application form for stamp 6 holders. I would say, it's a pretty obvious procedure when one having...

Re: Travel without Gnib card

Airline won't let her on board on the return flight. Get a re-entry visa. The re-entry visa is being provided now only either to those who are on stamp 6 (means, already having naturalisation certificate) or to minors who do not hold IRP at all. Other stamp holders are kind of in limbo once IRP is ...

Re: Citizenship delays: FOI and an application for an Order for Mandamus via the High Courts

Unfortunately, it's not like that. In the response, there is "have being submitted", not "have been submitted". I received exactly the same copy-paste reply in November. Last week I wrote another enquiry about my application's status and asked what "have being submitted" meant. The reply was: "it is...

Re: Affidavits for approved applications and next ceremony

Can't wait to see people update here about the affidavit received and any further progress. That would be a good sign of positive movement on the immigration's side. All this waiting game is making me sick

Got my second letter yesterday.
Here's the content:

I believed I haven't received the second letter at all, but from your scan I see that it's actually exactly what I received together with my passport when it was returned after the submission of my application.

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2020 Pending Approval

Hi all,
On Friday I received an update that my application for naturalisation have being submitted
to the Minister for a decision. What does it mean? What stage I'm on? I've never received any second letter.

I'm in the same situation. Applied in January 2020. In October, as a reply to my email enquiry, I received "your application is in the advanced stage of processing"
