At last, a result! 05/11/2018 - FBR paperwork posted, fee paid online. DFA website said it would take "up to 6 months". 12/03/2019 - Email from DFA confirming they received the application. 20/10/2020 - Request for clarification, they wanted more documentation to prove the chain of ancest...

I am not going to add my timeline, as I just applied (sigh, let the long journey begin) - but I am curious, there are so many FBR applicants. Is this all in efforts to actually live in Ireland? Or is it mostly due to Brexit? I would say 80% of the applicants are British, some of them, uniquely, are...
