Re: British Passport return of Supporting documents

I'm not sure - We're still waiting ourselves.

We received my passport and my son's passport on the 12th and 13th.

Still waiting on the supporting documents.

Re: Nearing 6 months with no outcome

I am not convinced that the approach to the anaylsis (comparing no of applications to no of approvals per quarter) is necessarily correct. The applicantion consideration process do not take either a fixed time frame or fit into the same quarters. Also the date of naturalisation would be impacted by...

Re: Nearing 6 months with no outcome

Thank you for your suggestions. Can I ask if you’ve sent an email to both email addresses at the same time or tried one particular one first? I’d just like to add, I’m not particularly worried as there is nothing unusual about my application (other than applying on the first day of eligibility but ...

Re: Nearing 6 months with no outcome

my information is based on statistics released by the Home Office. Could you link to these stats please? I think the delays are based on the routes that the migrants will have taken, with refugee and Long Residence ILRs taking longer to verify, compared to say a Tier 2 General based ILR (whose immi...

Re: Nearing 6 months with no outcome

Hi, Don't base your timeline on other applications as it entirely depends on luck and maybe your nationality. Some nationalities have had it easy and some haven't and my information is based on statistics released by the Home Office. My advice is to wait until the 6 months have passed from applicati...

Re: Not heard of Certificate in 7mo since approval

UPDATE: The UKVI sent a standard reply to my complaint after 20 days passed: I replied saying I want it escalated as 9 months passed, and if nothing happens I will contact them on one of the numbers given by nnn15 This is painful - I really think that the UKVI has dropped the ball with a lot of app...

Re: Not heard of Certificate in 7mo since approval

If you're going to ask your MP to help don't wait 20 working days. If the MP writes a letter to the HO then that's another 20 working days so you're going to end up waiting another 8 weeks for a response.

Re: **** COVID19 Biometrics appointments and UKVCAS ***** (Discuss here ONLY)

I believe I need to get my MP involve. :| Do it! The more MPs hear about it the more pressure we can put on the home office to pro...

Re: **** COVID19 Biometrics appointments and UKVCAS ***** (Discuss here ONLY)

So I just checked and I'm now past the 6 month mark. I contacted the home office number and they were told they cannot provide an update on applications and to just file a complaint. He said I should email complaints@homeoffice.gov.uk I also found out that it's exactly the same as this: https://www....

Many thanks for your reply phetherweyt. Did you get a decision if you don't mind me asking and when did you apply.

Thank you very much
I applied on the 11th of August, received a response on the 12th and did my biometrics on the 14th of September.

Still waiting on a decision.

Re: **** COVID19 Biometrics appointments and UKVCAS ***** (Discuss here ONLY)

Hi, The Home Office mentioned in an email that the application is progressing in the system so that made me wonder if it is now being considered by a case worker or could it mean it is still in queue. Could mean anything. Some were told that their case has not yet been assigned to a case worker and...

Re: **** COVID19 Biometrics appointments and UKVCAS ***** (Discuss here ONLY)

Some members sent an enquiry nearing six months through email. As per the trend observed June applicants got a decision just after sending the em...

Re: **** COVID19 Biometrics appointments and UKVCAS ***** (Discuss here ONLY)

Date of application is the date you pay and submit online, biometrics date is irrelevant. You've just made me feel worse! So a mid-Sep 2020 submission makes it 4 months tomorrow irrelevant of when my biometrics appointment took place. I don't think I can handle 2 more months, waiting for a sign, be...

Because he has applied by post not online. Also the letter which was not addressed to him gave a timeframe of 10 days to enroll biometrics which has obviously passed.
Did he try calling the help line?
