Re: First adult passport: awaiting documents confirmation

Hey Sylmazer, I am in the same boat. I applied just one week after you and still waiting for approval. People who applied in early May started getting approvals already. I read somewhere that some people visited the passport office and they issued their passports within hours. So I think it is a mat...

Re: Changing Name

My name was really hard to pronounce. So on the next day of my citizenship ceremony, I created a deed poll (actually advised by the lady at the ceremony) and changed the spelling of my name. I applied for the passport in my new name. However, now I am facing a delay. It has been a month since HMPO s...

Re: Cannot remember previous application details.

But the lady at UKVCAS said I should also upload something like P60, Bank Statement or council tax bill to prove this. None of this is required as you followed the tier 2 to ilr route. These documents are required for those who followed the EU regulations rules route as their passports are NOT stam...

Re: Cannot remember previous application details.

Thank you both. I have reached out to previous solicitors. Let me see if they can provide that information because my company also changed solicitors while I was employed. Can I ask a further question: I came to the UK on Tier 2 in 2015 November. But I was on holiday during 2016 December. Does this ...

Re: 5 yr back presence requirement for citizenship application

Can I ask a further question:
I came to the UK on Tier 2 in 2015 November. But I was on holiday during 2016 December. Does this mean I cannot submit my application this year December even I have been on ILR for 12 months?

Cannot remember previous application details.

Re: Previous employer cannot give Absence letter due to Merger/Acquisition

You still need to list all those leaves when you were out of the UK when working with your previous employer and attach a cover letter explaining the same + the email from HR saying they no longer hold that info after the merger. As long as the leaves are within the limits you should be ok. Are let...

Got my approval letter from the solicitor earlier. I guess I was the last person left to be approved from Oct, given there was no IDV app bio submission since Oct.
