Thank You. One other question if you don't mind. Has the Indian Passport been surrendered before obtaining British Passport or after?

Thanks a lot for the help.

Re: British Passport for UK born child - One parent with ILR

Hi Culllinan, Zimba,

One quick query, do we need to take Indian Passport before registering the child through MN1? as there were questions around nationality in the MN1 form.

Thank You

Re: British Passport for UK born child - One parent with ILR

Thanks for the quick response Cullinan. By approval date, you mean the decision email? We have received the decision email on 10 Nov. That is the approval date then. But as Zimba said, just to double check best to get a SAR. You will have to register the baby first via MN1 even if it is a 1 day dif...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Thanks Poper. A quick query, my wife's ILR is through Tier 2 G and mine is through Long Residence, so should I use Set (F) or Set(O) for my child's ILR (non-uk born)? Who was the main applicant? Whose PBS dependent is the child?? PS: Please continue in your own topic for full details. https://www.i...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

This might rub salt on wounds for SET(M) and SET(LR) applicants. Appears super priority service has been opened for SET(O) applicants: https://www.gov.uk/faster-decision-visa-settlement/eligible-visas-when-applying-inside-the-uk Big news! Is this in effect? I see only standard appointment for Set (...

Re: Dependent visa for children - Parent with ILR

Yeah that is the point. Even the ILR is also costing more or less the same. So why to wait until my ILR. if he can be switched as ILR dependent, anyways we can apply for his Passport after one year along with us. isn't it?

Re: Dependent visa for children - Parent with ILR

Thanks CR001. Appreciate your quick response.

I have recently applied for my ILR so not sure if I will get it before his Visa expires. That's why I am thinking of the option of ILR dependent for my wife. Would that be possible? If so, which set of the application I should be using?

Thank You
