Re: Help with right to work

OK cool, thank you Cullinan for this information. I am very grateful as always. Also thank you Zimba for putting my mind at ease as well. I have sent the UAN which I found when I logged into his account and sent it to his employer alongside Zimba's links. Thank you both again.

Re: Help with right to work

OK ok thank you so much for this help and putting myself at ease. I need to send an email to his employer so I will send both links and also the UAN is the number of the application correct? So when that was all submitted, I could Download a copy and it was at the top right? Or does it begin with UK...

Help with right to work

OK hello everyone I'm having a really bad panic as my husbands employer emailed me. Saying if he has a new visa because his visa expires on 3rd February and she is saying he won't be able to work. I've submitted his application but not his evidence and his biometrics at the appointment which isn't t...

Re: Sopra Steria Appointment

I do have a scanner, but if you're saying it can be done via a phone, then why bother connecting a laptop, scanner etc when a phone is simpler. However I'm still divided about the whole document scanning at their centre and whether I should just do it myself (like you suggest) as your experience say...

Re: Sopra Steria Appointment

Thanks so much for the detailed information, very truly grateful for the help. I think on any other time I would use this and try looking now to save some money, but as you're saying it would require a weekday appointment then its probably out of my luck as I can't miss anymore time off work for var...

Re: Sopra Steria Appointment

so I paid £110 for the standard appointment , then an extra £49.99 for document scanning and £1.99 for sms service at the address I gave previous post. I booked the appointment 25th January for 21st February as this was one of the only available dates which was close to me. I wanted Swindon but was ...

Re: Sopra Steria Appointment

Ok yeah that does sound correct, they wouldn't want to read a bunch of waffle. On your smart phone? I thought everything had to be done all professionally and stuff and I have to use a scanner and do it all perfectly. I didn't realise that you could quite simply take a picture on your phone and send...

Re: Sopra Steria Appointment

Thank you for the detailed information. When you went to your appointment, did they do all of the scanning despite having a mood or did they skip some? Maybe I should upload easier and smaller things like my banks statements and payslips and correspondence. Sorry but by cohabitation do you mean thin...

Re: Sopra Steria Appointment

Ok, interesting I see. Whats the point of them even making me pay for it then? Why have I paid for it if they won't do it? They seem like they want to make it intentionally more difficult for people. I have a scanner at home, that's not a problem but it will probably take a really long time as I hav...

Sopra Steria Appointment

Hello All!, I have submitted my husband's visa application on 25th January and have an appointment in Birmingham, (which I didn't know would cost me an extra £110 to book) for the submission etc which is on 21st February. I have also bought the Data Scanning service which I wanted to know if they wi...

Re: 2 years or 2.5 years of living evidence?

Ok thank you that's what I thought. But on the final declaration page its specifically says that you will provide for 2.5 years? If I tick this box and I don't provide, will my application be effected? It's very strange that it would say that you are declaring this? will my application be rejected?...

2 years or 2.5 years of living evidence?

Hello everyone, I have nearly completed my application form for SET(M) and near the end of the declaration page, it asks for "6 letters and/or other documents addressed to you and your partner at the same address to show that you have been living together the past 2.5 years" However if I remember co...

Decrease in Salary

Hello All, hope everyone is well. I have a query about salary for the last 5 months of my husbands payslips, they have been consistently one figure, and only recently the company mentioned that in January (the last payslip I need) his pay will decrease. This in itself isn't a concern, but I want to ...

ILR application questions

Hello all, I was filling out the SET(M) application online and came across a weird set of questions "Are you part of any social groups or do you have other cultural ties in your country of birth, nationality or any other country where you have lived for more than 5 years?" I have answered the previo...

Sorry I didn't pick up on that before and you're right, CULLINAN did write this. I will just get my last payslip and everything else e.g. bank statements, employers letter and submit the application the next day then. Below is a list from a link you sent for the sopra steria, are the locations on th...

Re: ILR Application process

Thanks so much for this detailed information. I have a much clearer idea now. If I was to submit my application on say for example the 15th January, and then submit my paperwork later, is the application date on the 15th from when it is counted from? also, when I choose a date to submit the paperwor...
