ILR - Earnings

Hi, Do the earnings have to be while you're based in the UK or through a UK company? The guidance doesn't appear to include that and according to the form, there are different sections for where the earnings were earned, where the company is based and currency conversion. Would the following be acce...

I think ORelly's point makes sense. However, why are they amending it for some and not others when it's disputed? It does not appear to be consistent.

Payslips have been referred in several posts above - are these issued by yourself as the Director? Is that acceptable? I don't have any and my accountant has said that they don't prepare them.

However, they aren't really required are they? Do most of you submit them though?

Accountant registration documentation?

Hi, It states that evidence of registration of the accountant must be provided. I'd like to check what type of documentation you have provided e.g. registration number or other documents and if these were original documents or copies? I don't think my accountant would send me the original documents....

What confuses me is why evidence for self-employment is being requested for when the OP is not self-employed. Are they doing that for all limited company directors?

include my due amount to HMRC in the letter , which includes class 4 and income tax amount.
I agree with gaurav, you really shouldn't include that.

I would recommend to get some basic salary (say about 9k) and then rest as dividend... This way UKBA will be satisfied that atleast your are paying some tax...and good nes is if you dont work for the whole year you can claim back the tax paid from HMRC Thanks gaurav! It is difficult - with all the ...

Salary and dividend structures?

Hi, For someone with a new limited company, director and sole shareholder, what dividend and salary structure would you recommend, taking into account extension requirements and tax efficiency? I'm wondering how others have structured their payments, particularly for the extension. My accountant has...

If they ask you, then submit them. I have few friends been asked to show Invoices.
Are there requirements for the format e.g. particular details that have to be included, signed or stamped? Will a basic bare MSWord document be acceptable?

Company history and HMRC check.
That's interesting. I don't think that's stated in the Guidance. Do you know what they're checking for or if any additional documentation is required?

Hi Tariqul,

Did you encounter errors while doing it? It could be a technical error?

On another note, all I get is errors. They are shown as available, but when I click on them and key in the information, I get an error message that the ID cannot be checked. Did you get that too?

Questions on the form?

Hi, There are some things I'd like to check on the form. I think I'm confusing myself! It would be great if those of you who have completed the form can provide some advice on what you did. Section C states - the applicant should also provide all previous passports and/or travel documents that he/sh...

Category for doctors-in-training after foundation?

Which category would that fall under - 1 or 2? A doctor-in-training who was on the Postgraduate Doctor and Dentist Visa for the Foundation Programme and has been given a place for further training in a speciality?

Thank you.

Does this guidance apply to for those through Umbrellas? That is aimed at those who operate through an umbrella company, I think. The net income will be expense minus i.e suppose you earn 100 pounds and make an expense of 30 pounds now your taxable income will be 100-30=70 . On 70 pounds you will p...
