IRP Card late for Schengen visa appointment

Hi All. Would anyone know if INIS in burgh quay can provide a physical stamp into the passport that would show our stamp 4 approval? We applied for the IRP card but it will be late for our Schengen visa appointment next week. The consulate told us that we can have the passport stamped at a Garda sta...

Re: Children naturalization application

I applied in May 2022, got the docs sent back and an acknowledgment letter and that's it so far. Our application was based on me (dad with EU nationality) becoming Irish earlier in 2022.

minor adopted by polish citizen - how to get polish passport

Hi, I am trying to get a polish passport for my son whom I adopted a year ago in Ireland. Has anyone gone through this? Re: what form for non-Irish child of EU-first now Irish parent

100% correct in my case. My family's residence renewal didn't go through on time and we learnt about it a few days before they were due to go back home to visit the family. They got locked out of Ireland for 5 months before we managed to get them the re-entry visa. Our first re-entry visa applicati...

Re: what form for non-Irish child of EU-first now Irish parent

I can't exercise EU rights anymore if I am Irish too, this is 100% confirmed. I looked at the dependant form but it mentions ages of 16-18 or "23 in full time education". I focused on the first bit only but I think now that "23 in full time education" could also cover a 12yr old? I'd say 16-18 age ...

what form for non-Irish child of EU-first now Irish parent

HI, My family came over here based on my EU nationality. In the meantime I became Irish and they need to renew their GBNID cards. There is a form for spouses (Spouse/Civil Partner of Irish National Scheme) which seems to cover it but I don't see anything for the minors. How do we reapply for his car...

Re-entry visa Ireland after accidental EU rights expiry

Hi, My wife's residency permit (based on my EU nationality) expired by a coincidence / omission 2 days (Friday) before she was due to travel (Monday) with the kids (2 x Irish citizens, 1 x non-Irish citizen). They've been effectively stuck there for the last 3 months as she now needs a re-entry visa...

GNIP card renewal refused as INIS didn't extend on time

Hi, My wife and son (non-EU) applied for the GBNID cards extension based on EU family rights. They were allowed to send application only one month before expiry. Today they got their refusals because their current GBNID cards (EUFAM permits) expired during the process of extension. If I got it right...

Re: Irish Naturalisation - how long before docs returned?

I got a reply from DFA and indeed they simply haven't updated their forms. no need to send in the original passports Awesome news! Now you just need to gather documents to rack up 150 points this year (I assume that since there is a "Minor" column, you need to use Scoreboard approach) and send all ...

Irish Naturalisation - how long before docs returned?

Hi, How long does it usually take for INIS to send back the documentation including the passports? We have two trips booked - returning from the first one on 22-Apr and departing for the second one on 6-Jun. We'd like to apply in between those trips and make sure that the passports are back in time ...
