Today (3rd October) marks the 28th day for my statement balance, with a positive opening balance on 6th Sept, and a positive closing balance when I get the statement printed few minutes before bank branch clos...

Re: Applying for UK born child

You pay in line with the visa duration. You can possibly request a refund, no guarantees. Have you been paying for his NHS use since he was 3 months old? Children born in the UK only get 3 months free NHS use and then you have to pay if you do not apply for their visa. No I haven't been. All I've r...

Re: India in RED LIST ( Skilled worked Visa )

We tend to overthink things when it comes to immigration.

Why are you guys not considering "skilled worker" or "leave to remain" as rights to reside? What else is it then if you are not residing here albeit with an end date?

I am no expert and this is just my personal opinion.

Re: Applying for spouse visa from Pakistan

Qismat, you haven't clarified you residency status. I am of the idea the process and docs. required vary on your status. I am myself in Skilled worker visa (previously Tier2) and in the same situation as you, in UK atm. I will be applying for my wife's visa soon, my concern was whether they are even...

Re: Tier 2(General) Dependent Visa Outside UK

Hi Soeco, Did you find the answer? I am sure you need to show maintenance however, like you I did not have to show maintenance for my own tier2 application for being here for over 12 months. My question therefore is the same, do we need to show maintenance for a partner's application when we didn't ...
