EU Settlement Scheme (pre-settled) application with non-EU passport & family permit

Applying to the EU Settlement Scheme (pre-settled status) with an EUSS Family Permit and non-EU passport. Unsure about the sequence of these steps... - submitting an application online (UKVI) - biometric appointment (UKVCAS) - sending the passport (some say it is necessary, others say not) - uploadi...

Re: Sheffield Visa Section - EEA FAMILY PERMIT

Has anyone had any success complaining against an unlawful, arrogant refusal ?? In my case the UKVI New Delhi completely ignored EU passport submitted in 2 formats - as pdf and jpg and refused because the major evidence was "missing". I have no idea whether it was a gross negligence by the UKVI cler...

EEA FP - gross negligence

Good evening, Is there a formal way to complain against gross negligence resulting in a swift visa refusal ? Either VFS Global or UKVI New Delhi apparently lost / misplaced part of the evidence incl. sponsor's EU passport and national ID card. Those were clearly named and uploaded as .jpg and .pdf t...

Re: Applying EEA family permit while in the UK on a visit Visa.

I guess applying for EUSS while on visitor visa was only possible till Dec 31 2020

Also if her mother had been granted visitor visa it means she had to show substantial assests in the bank.
How such person can be financially dependent ???

Re: Applying EEA family permit while in the UK on a visit Visa.

Hi Marysia from Philippines.

After Jan 1 2021 you cannot use EEA FP route anymore for parents in law.
Your mother got a wrong visa last year... should have applied for EEA FP not visitor visa.

Now she must go back to PH and apply for EUSS FP.

There are flights available between UK and PH.

Last but not least, please mind the tone you have already used in your replies to two respected gurus and a senior member. You have a history of trolling already, moderators are watching. My tone has resulted from frustration as it seems your role is not to help but to discourage. I've browsed over...

Re: EUSS route now also for durable partners ?

You don't live in the UK. You have an artificial footprint, you never worked or paid taxes in the UK. You don't have an address of your own... etc. You are not married to this person and you would like to get her a 5-year EUSS card in order to make your life easier with current restrictions. Thank ...

Re: Any possible route to bring girlfriend via EEA route?

Your girlfriend can apply for an EEA Family Permit till 30 June. You risk nothing. The application is FREE. Just provide lots of evidence & photos and a good cover letter that this is a durable relationship. https://www.gov.uk/family-permit/eea-family-permit I've seen dozens of success stories where...

Re: Applying for Non-EEA spouse, EEA route or Spouse visa?

Then I'm afraid the EEA and EU routes are closed for you. Your husband needs a spouse visa. Your husband can apply for an EEA Family Permit till 30 June. You risk nothing. The application is FREE. You have pretty strong case since you've got married. Just provide lots of evidence & photos and a goo...

Re: Freedom of Movement of EEA nationals

What are you looking for? 1. Confirmation that unmarried partners (without some UK issued document, dated before 31/12/2020) can apply for the EUSS FP - same way as close family members (mixed info on this on official websites) 2. Clear info on the 30/06/2021 EUSS deadline... apparently there is no...

Yeah me troll and you sound like a dearly beloved. The whole idea of forums - even 25 yrs ago - was to limit the number of threads so other users could find max. information per particular topic. Ask any moderator whether it is better to start 20 new threads rather than seek answers & ask/reply in t...

Re: Extended FM with EEA FP, Applying after 31st Dec to EUSS?

So I believe this is what they refer to with "some cases" = if you applied for a EEA document before December 31st 2020, when they say in the same link you shared above (under "If you’re their dependent relative", right after the paragraph saying you can only apply if arrived pre-Dec 2020): Great.....

Application submission / bio date vs up to date evidence ?

Does the evidence have to be relevant to the application submission date or biometrics date ? For example application submitted in December 2020 but biometrics done in February 2021. Should all pieces of evidence also cover January & February (for example bank statements) ? What If my UK address has...

Re: World of caution for unmarried/durable partners [except partners of people from Northern Ireland]

Under the changes, if the UK-issued "relevant document", such as the EEA family permit or residence card, was issued after 31 December at 11pm based on an application submitted before that time , the durable partner is regarded as having held the document since before 31 December. What about durabl...

Re: World of caution for unmarried/durable partners [except partners of people from Northern Ireland]

Finally, the recent Citizens' Rights (Application Deadline and Temporary Protection) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 (Statutory Instrument 1209), preserve much of the important parts of the EEA Regulations 2016 through the grace period ending on 30 June 2021. This includes regulation 12 of the EEA Regul...

So that's why you only arrived in the UK in November last year, then went back to Poland the next month when you got prer-settled status? Because you thought this was your only option to reunite? There are other EEA countries that will allow EEA citizens to use Free Movement to bring a non-EEA/CH c...

There was a clear guidance on applying for the EEA Family Permit after 31 Dec 2020 but for some reason it was removed :( However the requirements for the TO ACC permit mirrored the TO JOIN permit (joint travel to the UK in 2021 permitted but qualified factor added) Used web archive to compare curren...

The EU Settlement Scheme is the answer from the UK legislation to provide a path for EU nationals who wish to come to the UK. But: What other provisions there will be ... hangs in wether there is a deal or not at the end of the transition period, and what that deal provides. So still unknown. Appar...

After they received their Residence Card they can. That fact is correct. I don't understand why anyone with a RC (already in the UK) want to apply for the EUSS Family Permit. Also I always thought the applicant must be outside the UK to apply for it. Looks like there is an inconsistency between the...

Where is your partner??? Why all these logistics??? Philippines. Locked in the travel ban since March 2020. Poland borders remain shut for unmarried partners since March 2020. It's been the toughest year of my life. Our ONLY option is to reunite in the UK. Meeting for a month in one of the normal, ...
