Congratulations.

Applied in 12/21 as of now just application number received. Nothing else , fingers crossed
Hi, I think your time only starts counting from the acknowledgment date, not when you send the documents. In any case, best of luck.

Not necessarily, I was looking at the past years ceremony, in many years they had one around March, July and December. I think with the high volume, they might do another one around March. But who knows for sure?! Checked post yesterday and nothing here on my side either, but I did got the second em...

Re: For those approved for citizenship, when do you handover your GNIB card?

Just to add, my letter only asked to send back travel document (if applicable), I asked my solicitor… She said “ A Travel Document is issued to Refugees so this is not relevant for you, so you can ignore this. You should receive an invitation in the post shortly, hopefully within the next couple of ...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

Hey, I came across this forum with application time and some insights. Apparently the processing time has come down to 19 months at some point in 2022.

Not sure if this helps anyone but it is nice to see some numbers.

Re: E vetting and citizenship application

The question is mainly for the applications done via solicitor. Can you tell if they send your eVetting form (physical one to fill out) to your address or to your solicitor’s address? I applied through solicitor, the paper form went to my solicitor, I had to go in in person to sign and provide a co...

In 2017 it took me over 3 months to get any response from them. So I wouldn’t hold my breath when dealing with them, with COVID and stuff I would assume it got even worse.

She will have to go through the same process I went. She won’t get a visa from the immigration in dublin, she will need to send her application to the SOIN division. I did my application myself, but I was only a few days with my visa expired. If I were you I would involve a solicitor, principally if...

Hi, her visa process will be more difficult so be prepared. Hi,

I think by decision they meant the return of the FOI not the actual decision on the application, see below what they say on their FOI website.

“ A decision on your FOI application must normally be made within 20 working days.”
