Hi, I think your time only starts counting from the acknowledgment date, not when you send the documents. In any case, best of luck.

Got my letter yesterday, they only gave me 10 day to pay the fee in order to be invited for December ceremony.
All paid and sorted yesterday straightaway so I’m almost there now.

In 2017 it took me over 3 months to get any response from them. So I wouldn’t hold my breath when dealing with them, with COVID and stuff I would assume it got even worse.

I think by decision they meant the return of the FOI not the actual decision on the application, see below what they say on their FOI website.

“ A decision on your FOI application must normally be made within 20 working days.”
