They are only requesting naturalized Irish citizen to have their BC certified in the embassy of their country of birth Yep, looks like naturalizsed citizens always have that extra hurdle to jump. Folks, i received the Form 7 yesterday - There's no mention of 'Approval' in the letter accompanying it. just instructions to take oath at the nearest district court & the fee details. Fill out FOI1 form from the link below and send it off to your local SW office. They'll issue a letter within a week or so which you can forward to DoJ with a cover letter.

Hi Nanette, May be you can help me on these two : Oath: Do I need to bring anything else except yellow form & photo ID ? Passport: Did you apply passport in person or via passport express ? Any difference ? Are they fussy about documents in passport office for 1st time applicants like us (new Irish)...
