Re: Skilled worker extension salary (not) too low?

Can anyone help please because my response deadline is in 2 days?

I am really not sure what am I supposed to do regarding his salary.

What is the minimum salary he can have as a chef now, since it is visa extension based on the visa from 2022 when he had salary of 28,000gbp for 40 hour work week?

Re: Skilled worker extension salary (not) too low?

I can see that it looks like the treshold was recently increased to minimum salary of 31,300.

If he was in the UK from 2022 on salary of 28k, does it mean that new minimum salary for his visa renewal is now 31,300?

Skilled worker extension salary (not) too low?

Hello, I am a visa sponsor. Short explanation: My skilled worker is extending visa based on the previous salary when he arrived to the UK in 2022 of 28k per year for 40 hours of work per week. Home office just sent an email saying that salary is too low. ------------------------------------ I have ...

Re: Kids of a naturalised British Citizen

I read it on chatgpt. So it is definitely not the case? It did sound too good to be true. Here is a quote: 🔹 Scenario A (cheaper route with direct registration for kids) Kids do not need to wait in Serbia. They can come to the UK with the mother — but not on “child dependant visas.” Instead: Since th ...

Kids of a naturalised British Citizen

One of my employees is going to become a British Citizen soon. He has three kids born abroad, all of them will be under 18 when he becomes British Citizen. I read online that once he becomes British Citizen, his kids can also apply for Citizenship and come over to the UK. His wife would have a visa ...

Employee visa renewal, COS issue

Hello, My employee's visa is expiring in 1 month and I would like to extend their visa. This is the first time I am doing this. I have created a COS and it says "Ready to go" but it has no cos number and I cannot assign it (there is no assign button). I am not sure if I need to do anything to get ...

Re: URGENT: Further payment required - UKVI made a mistake?

Yes, correct Ok, thanks, everything is clear now regarding the amount. I have another (hopefully final) thing to ask. We received three emails, one for wife and two for kids. All three emails are asking for the same amount and it is the same UAN as they applied all together. All three emails are ...

Re: URGENT: Further payment required - UKVI made a mistake?

You have paid the INCORRECT fee and also totally confused yourself. The 5 years they refer to in their communication is the length of your initial COS as that is important to determine the correct fees :!: Here is what the fees are based on how long was your initial COS was issued for: Fees ...

Re: URGENT: Further payment required - UKVI made a mistake?

Hi, can anyone please help? In the meantime, I found this in the guidance. It would also support that family can get 3 year visa as main applicant received ILR and I am not sure why they are even mentioning cos? Period of grant for a dependent partner or dependent child of a Skilled Worker SW 36.1 ...

Re: URGENT: Further payment required - UKVI made a mistake?

Also, clarification for amount of 2,427gbp - the only way to get this amount is to have three times the difference between 5 year and 3 year visa fee. Three times because of three applicants - wife and 2 kids. Visa fee paid for 3 years: 3x 827gbp = 2481gbp Amount payable for 5 years: 3x 1,636 = 4 ...

Re: ILR qualifying period for main applicant and PBS dependants

I understand that (it was the same for me and my wife), however if visa is issued on 29.12.2023. then rolling period starts from that day? To clarify 1 year rolling period means all of the above: 29.12.2023. - 29.12.2024. 30.12.2023. - 30.12.2024. 1.1.2024 - 1.1.2025. . . . . . 15.8.2026-15.8.2027 ...

If I want to sponsor someone who is studying in the UK on a student visa, does it mean that they have already proven knowledge of English (scored points there) and that we do not need to submit it again? Or the test will be required again? They did an english test online when coming to the UK (done ...

Language test change?

Hi, My company has sponsored a number of visas so far, but nothing new within the last year or so. A person from abroad has asked me where they should take the test and I am very confident that a few years ago there was a list of authorised test providers per country on the gov.uk website. However ...
