Past Earnings in Multiple Countries

Hi I just want to confirm the below. If during the 12 month I am considering for 'Past Earnings'; I was paid in Indian salary for 8 1/2 months and was on secondment abroad for the rest 3 1/2 months. Hence in this case the Indian salary would be taken on pro-rata basis. However would you have to take...

Gordon, I think the key point here is not to make exceptions, but rather to use common sense when assessing applications, I agree with gordon on this... I don't think the caseworker has an option of applying common sense to a case when the rules state otherwise... The only way out would be a amendm...

However there would be an increase in the cost from £400 to £600.. so if this is too much then go ahead now.. however they might stop accepting applications sometime before the changes come into effect... I am sure of the above, they say there will be "single" process which include HSMP approval ...

with the new HSMP rules you get a 3 years and then you apply for FLR which is for 2 years... assuming you travel initally to UK 6 months after getting EC stamp... thus after your FLR expires you would have 4 1/2 years in UK and you still won't be able to apply for ILR.. what happens in this situati...

Initial should in my opinion should be smaller so one gets a chance to find out if things are going well and if they are one should apply for extention. I disagree with this point .. i think it better to have 3 years initially and then 2 with FLR.. this gives you more time to settle down and then a...

daylebo5 At the moment, it is true, people could use HSMP LTR to study, personally know a person who have done this. So I assume currently there a loophole and there should no prob (with the current rules) for studying after FLR... Further.. I a confusion... with the new HSMP rules you get a 3 year...

just a small query in relation to EC.. sorry uk_amit

If you get a EC stamp for 2/3 years.. does this period of 2/3 years start from the date the visa is stamped or the date you enter the country...

Also what the max amount of time you have to enter the uk after getting EC stamped ?

Now assuming after 2 years of working I want to do some studies in UK for a year eg MBA. So, 1. Firstly can I...
