I am contemplating on trying this route but the only thing that puts me off is somewhere I read that you should be in the top 1% of the workforce to get this one and I am certainly not. So I do not want to waste my money in that huge appl fee.... So as you see I am a bit confused now and am holding ...

Thanks flyboy for your response. Most other countires give some grace time after graduation to look for jobs, thats why i thought it might be same with Switzerland.
Moreover is it possible to get a tourist visa in Switzerland while on a student permit ?
