Re: Can my child apply naturalisation with MN1

You were already advised in your other topic that the child needs ilr first. There is no shortcut route for children born abroad. https://www.immigrationboards.com/indefinite-leave-to-remain/help-with-following-ilr-questions-for-spouse-and-son-t315977.html#p2007845 Note that the call center is ...

If your son is born abroad, he needs to get ILR with the other parent first before being registered as British Citizen.
Thanks, CULLINAN. Do you think customer care gave us wrong information or not aware full criteria?

Re: Help with following ILR questions for spouse and son

1. Set M if they have 5 years spouse/child settlement visa. 2. You pay ilr and super priority fee for each applicant. Ilr is £2389 each and super priority is £800 each. 3. If he was born abroad no, he needs ilr first. Your wife and child can apply for citizenship once they both have ilr. Thank you!

That is a common mistake people make. Do NOT answer the questions literally on the form. The form is NOT a full disclosure. If she does not want to rely on that limited company, simply answer NO to any questions regarding self/employment or limited company on the form
Thank you Zimba 8)
