Re: Tier 2 (General ) visa - Extend

1. CoS, passport, BRP and other documents as required depending on your circumstances, the checklist will tell you.
2. Your employer need to assign you a new undefined CoS.
3. No
4. No maintenance evidence is required if all of you have been in the UK for more than 12 months.

Re: Changing Employer - Skilled Worker Visa

It's not a problem to submit the application after your notice period. You will have 60 days to legally stay in the UK after receiving the curtailment letter, during which you can submit the new application.

The risk is what if your new employer suddenly decides not to hire/sponsor you

Re: About refusal entry- because of multiple entry each year

This might be off-topic or might sound a bit aggressive. I would like to ask is there a set limit for how long a family member could stay in the UK under a visitor visa?? or just generally 180 days each year? My mother in law is using her visitor visa to come to the UK for the past 3 years. Recentl...

Re: UK SWV extension approved for more duration than the CoS end date- Issue?

That's not an error. I think the application gives you three years by default. For example, you must have paid IHS for three years, so you've got what you paid for. My first contract in the UK was a fixed-term for 18 months and my Tier 2 visa at the time was approved for three years. I didn't have ...

Appointment date does not matter. They just need to submit and pay for the application before visas expiry. The biometric appointment can take place after expiry.

You can wait if the child still has some validity in their current visa.

The category does not matter. The caseworker can see all files you upload.

Re: Dependent visa delay affecting house remortgage

The employer can use https://www.gov.uk/employee-immigration ... ent-status to confirm her status.

You will have to postpone the remortgage, cos there isn't really anything you can do to speed up the process.

Re: Brp and job question

When your job finishes, your employer will report it to UKVI and they will curtail the visa to 60 days or do nothing if there are less than 60 days validity left. So you should be able to stay until August.

You will need to submit application before visa expiry.

Re: Application Issue

You cannot change answers after the declaration stage. To do so, you need to start a new form.

If the errors are minor, you can continue with the current form and submit a cover letter to correct them.

Re: Dependant incorrect IHS fee

This is because the visa will have 14 days added to the CoS end date therefore the duration is more than 3 years. While the system can disregard this additional 14 days when calculating IHS for main applicant, it does not do so for dependants. This has been a known issue. I would suggest pay it and ...

Re: Advice on 10-years Long Residence

1. No, it's ok.
2. The 28 days rule only matters if you left after visa expiry, which you didn't. So you are fine.
3. What default extension?
4. Yes
5. 28 days before 20 Apr 2024
6. Only normal or super priority is available for long residence.
7. 20 Apr 2014
