Re: Eu Treaty files waiting time - EU1 or EU1A

I received my card in the mail, an Article 50 TEU (wasn’t sure what I’d get tbh). Valid for 5 years. A relief!

Re: Eu Treaty files waiting time - EU1 or EU1A

If they are asking for more, then you need to send that. They may then issue the temporary permissions but they won’t do it until you send them the additional documents I don’t think.

Re: Eu Treaty files waiting time - EU1 or EU1A

My IRP card application has been processed and approved, so now I am just waiting for it in the mail. All in all, it took from July to end of March/April for my app to be processed and get my card.

Re: Stamp 1G (graduate scheme) validity start/end date.

Online renewal can be done 12 weeks from expiry on the IRP like for everyone else. The Stamp 1G is valid until the card expires, and depending on the level of education they have either 1 year or 2 years. But when does the card validity start, when they submit the documents to ISD or when it's appr...

Re: Eu Treaty files waiting time - EU1 or EU1A

Don’t think it’s taken 6 months for some time now. From application submission to final letter, it was 9 months for me, and they took until the very end of September to acknowledge my application from July.

Re: Stamp 4 renewal - which option?

If you couldn’t get a straight answer from their email within a few days (they are much faster to respond now - last time I contacted them they replied to me on the same day - twice), just select the normal EU Treaty and do all the explanations in one of the note box. That way you won’t have to pay...

Re: Stamp 4 renewal - which option?

Also, EU treaty rights told me that I would still go through the EU1A application as I believe that one is for all family members of UK nationals. We gave them the info that we were married when it happened and my letter says “permitted family member”. So I don’t think I am considered a qualified me...

Re: Stamp 4 renewal - which option?

Part of why I am curious on this is because I don't want to have to pay the 300 euros if I don't have to. I'd like to know if I am exempt or if I do have to pay. Last time I renewed, I did have to pay but I managed to get a refund, and I chose the "none of the above" option. So I assumed I chose the...

Re: Stamp 4 renewal - which option?

I also don’t see a withdrawal beneficiary option. Can you specify stamp to be stamp 4 (not 4EUFam) in drop down, just so you don't make them think you're entitied of it as an EU national? If yes, EU family member looks okay, just explain it in a cover letter I'd say. Any better options on the form?...

Yeah I mean, I can pick Stamp 4 but then I need to provide the reason. None mention UK family member.

I have no idea? They said it was a Stamp 4. My husband resides in Ireland before the withdrawal and transition and was exercising his rights.

Stamp 4 renewal - which option?

Hi all, I am renewing my Stamp 4 (moving from a temp stamp to a 5 year one) and I am unsure what options to fill in for my renewal. There isn’t any drop-down option for permitted family member of a UK National, so I don’t know if I choose the EU family member option or not. This is for a EUTR1A appl...

Re: Eu Treaty files waiting time - EU1 or EU1A

Update, I have received the approval for my EUTR1A application for a Stamp 4 today (8 February 2023). So that took from July 2022 to Feb 2023 to process.

An update: Treaty Rights sent me an email saying my application is due for processing but they need payslips for my husband. Fingers crossed this is very close to the end.

Re: EUTR1A stamp 4 extension

Thanks littlerr. I’ll email them again in Feb. I don’t suppose there’s any documentation that I can show my company that I’m still valid to remain? Someone in the other chat was saying I definitely can’t be here with an expired card.

EUTR1A stamp 4 extension

Hi all, I wanted to ask this outside of the EU1/EU1A timeline thread to see if I could get some specific advice. I am waiting on a decision from Treaty Rights on my EU1A application. My permissions end 31 March. I emailed them to ask if I can get an extension (or if I need one) and they said that my...

Re: Eu Treaty files waiting time - EU1 or EU1A

I was under the impression that temporary permissions could not be renewed unless you had a letter from Treaty Rights. This is because they determine the date on the card.

Re: Eu Treaty files waiting time - EU1 or EU1A

I agree with you but there isn’t much I can do without a letter from Treaty Rights. I’ll keep following up with them. To my knowledge, I haven’t heard of anyone on here who didn’t get an extension if it was needed and it sounds like they have been processing them within the time frame listed.
