My understanding is with British passport and OCI, you can stay outside UK for how so much time. Hence renewing UK passport from India process request. I hope my understanding is correct?

Last 5 years (counting from the date of application) absent days are 253 which are less than 270 days (3 years) / 450 days (5 years) scenario. My last 12 months resulting 94 days. Do I have to wait for exact 90 days? It would mean wait for 6 months. Could you suggest alternative option if possible

Thank you, for the response. So I can submit the ILR application from 20 May 2014 till Visa expiry date? As 17-Jun-19 as Visa vignettes start date (minus 28 days = 20 May.

- Wife - payslip 6monthts, bank statement 12 months, investment certificates, company letter for trip
- husband - ITR, insurance savings, fixed deposits certificate
