May be your employer have applied for a new COS approval , though they have tier2 sponsorship license it is not guaranteed that they have enough COS licenses with them. Example ; The employer had 3 licences and sponsored all three now you are fourth one so they need 1 more COS approval from HO in ...

Thanks nicdee001, I looked at that option but we dont have the letter issued by the college / affiliated university stating that the subjects have been taught in English.
