Re: E vetting and citizenship application

Thank very much for your reply, its almost a month I've send it to the department, how long did it took( your case) between receiving e vetting letter and got email from garda? Oh, I see. You have a completely different experience than I had. In my case, it took one day (maybe 1.5 day) to receive a...

Re: Citizenship delays: FOI and an application for an Order for Mandamus via the High Courts

Do you think they ate going to give us decision when asked for an up to date garda report? I hope so (what else can I do? :)) Additionally, user Chap1122 mentioned in some other thread on this forum that she or he was approved two weeks after the evetting request. That's not true my friend. I know ...

My bro got his approval after a JR just 2 weeks ago.
He was waiting for more than 3 years.
Congrats to your bro but how is it related to the evetting?

Re: Citizenship delays: FOI and an application for an Order for Mandamus via the High Courts

My experience. The entire process from receiving the form by post till INIS accessed the disclosure took 8 working days. The progress can be tracked online. As far as I know there were no new approvals sent recently. But my understanding is that there should be another round of approvals in June.

Re: JUNE 2021 CITIZENSHIP APPROVAL LETTERS

Some members of this forum got their approvals in early May. You can check timeline threads on the forum.

Where did you get the 4000 number? Is it official announcement that they want to issue 4k approvals by the end of June?

Re: Waiting 7 months for minor kids certicate of naturalisation after approval letter

Hi Ali, I agree with your point that the department should deal with children naturalization much efficiently. And I know how the things work in Ireland; we need to make noise so the situation is improved. Regarding my situation -- I'll apply for my child in a couple of months. I asked about the rig...

Re: E vetting and citizenship application

I have the same/similar experience -- applied for FOI, got request for e-vetting as soon as FOI was done.

Quick question. How long does take for INIS to review the application and actually submit it to the National Vetting Bureau? (Step 3 in the process -- https://vetting.garda.ie/Application/About)

Re: Waiting 7 months for minor kids certicate of naturalisation after approval letter

If it is a right, there should be a law that states it? Where is this law? Give us a link. Otherwise it is just somebody said something.

(I'm not arguing that the department should handle children naturalization better. But I'm sceptical about the "right" part of your message)

Re: Citizenship delays: FOI and an application for an Order for Mandamus via the High Courts

Yesterday, I asked my question there, and today, I found a from to give my permission for garda e-vetting in my post box :) Hopefully, this check will be done quickly and my application will move.

Re: Citizenship delays: FOI and an application for an Order for Mandamus via the High Courts

I applied in the same time frame, and with my FOI there was one garda vetting document done. Some people in this forum have had a few garda vetting done (1 per year). It could very well be that they haven't done the garda vetting for you yet. Otherwise it would show. The only other possible explana...

Re: Citizenship delays: FOI and an application for an Order for Mandamus via the High Courts

I received my documents via FOI. The documents have a file with title "Request for Garda Vetting"; the file contains my name, addresses in Ireland, GNIB number etc. It is dated December 2019. But I don't see any "response" from Garda, e.g. saying that there are no convictions etc. Does it mean the v...
