- First few pages of photocopy showing the "CANCELLED" stamp should be fine. You do not need all pages - Yes, preferably 35 X 35 but if you see the recent guidelines from mha site they say minimum of 35 X 35. Now a days they are accepting photos if you follow the guidelines given in mha site. The gu...

There is a token system for PIO but there is no number on it. They just write PIO. If you plan to be there by 9:30 that should be fine. Join the VISA queue not consular secion queue. On the ground floor around 10AM some one comes out and shouts as PIO. Whoever is there next to that door they will ge...

photos for OCI

Whoever is going to apply for OCI. There is a suggestion.

The photos need to have white background and ears and shoulders should be visible ( not required for British passport ). They are rejecting the applications if the above is not followed. So be careful !!

You do need 8 photographs in total.

I know it is illegal...but people have got it in India like that before. Before citizenship ceremony was introduced, the Naturalization certificates used come in the post. They used to redirect it to India. Hence it was valid those days. Now it may not but you can always argue that you dont have tim...

Indian govt dont change the passport to amend the place of birth.
They right it as an observation and stamp it on one of the pages.

so there is no hassle.

Not able to decide whether to opt for PIO or OCI. As per your pervious note " debate in the UK parliament about curtailing Dual nation...
