Re: British Citizenship

Thanks a ton! One quick point: the document checklist states that a letter of consent needs to be submitted for my minor son who is also applying with me and my wife on same application. Is such a letter really needed when both parents are applying at the same time? If yes, is there a template for s...

Re: British Citizenship

Dear Forum Moderators Couple of more questions: 1. The form asks me “proof of living in the UK for 5 years”. What document types can I submit? 2. Is there a list of documents for AN (British Citizenship) that I can refer to apart from the checklist that UKVI generated? In other words, are there any ...

Re: British Citizenship

Thank you very much!! Much appreciated On 3 - just to be clear, does this include Visit Visas also? My first UK visit visa was back in 2007, then one in 2009 etc. So, do I need to enter all these? On 4 - So, which date I need to enter? The date I first arrived on visit visa back in 2007? Or Date I a...

Hi lst,

Have you had a decision? How long after the biometric was the decision? My super priority application also seems to be delayed hence checking.

Thanks

Re: Multi country travel

Any view on this? Thank you CR001 🙏 Fingers crossed. Given that we have responded to their query with in 30 min today and the fact that it is a Super Priority application and assuming other elements of applications have no problems, can we expect a decision tomorrow? I know it’s not guaranteed but w...

Re: Multi country travel

This UK born child is the one for birth of whom main applicant was on maternity leave. As I stated, maternity proofs (birth certificate, maternity certificate, employer letter etc.) were provided and those should be ok. This is how HO knows about this child. This UK born child (4 month old) is not o...

Re: Multi country travel

Thank you CR001. That’s why I don’t understand the query from caseworker. Language below: (“ As part of our duty of care to children in the UK. Please can you clarify why your dependant child has not been included on this application.”) Maybe we should have stated in cover letter that we will apply ...

Thanks secret.simon. 2nd child was born in the UK and is now 4 months old. Hence our view that he will be eligible for ILR or MN1 registration. Are we correct in thinking this?

Thank you very much Zimba. One more question: In the start of application, it asks for “In which Tier 2 Migrant category are you applying for ILR” - 1. In first selection, I selected “Skilled Worker or Tier 2” 2. Then a further subselection appears, where options are Skilled Worker; Tier 2 Minister ...

28 Days confusion

Hi

I entered UK on Tier 2 General on 3 Aug 2016. That’s also the date when my BRP/Visa for T2G started.

What’s the first day I can apply for ILR - is it 5th or 6th or 7th Jul 2021?
