When it was completed it said it must be in paper form as it's a child application. Not sure if that has now changed. The application has been processed and that is why he needs to now have his biometrics done. The boy just turned up at the biometrics place in Manchester on Saturday to try and get ...

Re: ILR status after citizenship approval for children

I mean if you have an urgent travel need, why not apply for 1-wk fast-track kid passport? https://www.gov.uk/get-a-passport-urgently/1-week-fast-track-service Thanks Ticktack for your feedback. I understand the rules and I would very much like to obey them. On the other hand, for a practical situati...

Re: ILR status after citizenship approval for children

Thanks alterhase58 for your feedback. If we travelled out of the UK and then return, we used to use the BRP for identification verification when re-enter. In this situation (children registered as British citizens where BRP became redundant), and before obtainin the British passport, is there any d...

Re: How will I know if I’m able to submit biometrics through the UKVI app?

you should've received an email asking you to wait until UKVI processes eligibility for app usage instead of booking an appointment.

Re: No email or correspondence yet

send an email to FurtherNationalityEnquiries@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk providing your info, hopefully, you'll get a reply.

usually, if you don't receive an email, you receive a letter in the post. given the strike actions, this might be delayed further.

Thanks for the reply. Regarding point3, regardless of how I will submit the document, the signature on the back of the picture won't be visible, is that ok ? Re: MN1 (registration) - Referral Process

1- yes, you need two referees, one should be dealing with the child in a professional capacity - teacher, GP, health visitor, etc. 2- you need to input the referee info in the application and then have the declaration form (separate doc) signed by each referee 3- this is an old requirement not neede...

Re: Naturalisation application evidence list support

The list will be generated when you complete your application based on your answers.
HO will work out if your biometrics could be reused, so you can use the app, or you need to attend an appointment. They'll let you know.

Loads of people used the app check out the timeline thread.
