Re: Applying for the administrative review

Hi Vinny, Thank you for your reply. I will write a letter and include the details that essentially her visa was 'refused', and then apply for the administrative review (after consulting local advisors on the HO number). If I get lucky then I will get the extension for them. Meanwhile, I am in talks ...

Re: Applying for the administrative review

Hi Thank you for the reply and for checking the link. I could have done the AR in time if the decision outcome document stated that explicitly. It just stated what to do if there is an error on the BRP. In the overview, it is also mentioned: "refuse or revoke your status, vary the length or ...

Re: Applying for the administrative review

Hi,

Can I qualify for the 2nd part?

"What is the time limit for applying for administrative review in country?

It is 14 calendar days from the date the applicant receives the decision notice or biometric residence permit (BRP) (7 calendar days if they are detained)."

Re: Applying for the administrative review

Hi, Thank you for your reply. Yes, everybody paid for 5-years of IHS and a 5-year visa fee (1500£ and not 1000£). That is scary as the outcome email only stated what to do if there is an error in BRP and not in the length of stay. Now, if I apply for AR, will it be rejected on ground that my family i ...

Applying for the administrative review

Hi, I have applied for a skilled worker visa for myself, and for my wife and my kid (as dependants). We all were granted 3-year visas instead of 5 in April. I paid for a 5-year visa fee and IHS, and my CoS was also issued for 5 years. I applied for Administrative review and got success and now I ...

Re: Unable to conclude the application

If the HO didn't specify exactly, then it is a generic email they send as an 'excuse' for delaying. (my interpetition) Anyway, the same happened to me but they eventually sent the visa. Certifying maintenance means you don't need to attach a bunch of long bank statements. It was written on my CoS ...

Re: Is Employer required to update Home Office for Skilled Worker Employee Absence?

You must have holidays+remote work from overseas permission. I suggest using a combination of both. Just get a letter from your Faculty admin team if you need. Anyway, I spent 45 days overseas with my line manager's approval. For proof, I have just an email from him. Immigration officer didn't ...

Re: Applied for 5 years skilled worker visa but got of 3 years

Thank you.

I also think it is just an error but an afraid mind just goes in all directions.

Yes, I will apply for the administrative review within 14 days once I receive my BRP by mail.

Re: Applied for 5 years skilled worker visa but got of 3 years

Hi, Just an update. The length of leave is also stated as 3 years when I checked it online. How could they do that when I have 1) CoS for 5 years 2) I paid for 5 year visa fee (1500 £) 3) NHS for 5 years I applied before the IHS fee hike. As part of visa services are privatised, did they do it ...

Re: Applied for 5 years skilled worker visa but got of years

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, my CoS is for 5 years (Mar 2024 - Mar 2029).

I am not still successful in logging into the evisa site as the NFC cannot find the chip in my BRP. I will try a different phone.

It will take 7-10 days more for the BRP to be delivered by mail.

Applied for 5 years skilled worker visa but got of years

Hi, I have received an email from the Home Office about my successful application. However, it shows that I have been granted a visa for 3 years instead of 5. Though I had applied for 5 5-year visa with all the fees for me and my family (3 applicants). I think I have a review within 14 days after I ...

Re: Declaration of consent for the Home Office to request verification checks

Is your wife applying with you? If not, why are you submitting this? Your parents information and IDs are totally irrelevant. Why you have included this? No. We have to file separate applications as she is overseas now. I included those details as it was in the application. If only YOU are applying ...

My application doesn't have GWF and VAF number but UAN

Hi, I have applied from within the UK and whereas I have applied for my wife and kid as from Pakistan (though I filled out the form). When I was filling in my wife's form, it asked for the UAN number which I had. For my under-18 daughter's application, it is just asking for the VAF and GWF but not ...

Declaration of consent for the Home Office to request verification checks

Hi Guys, I am applying for a Skilled worker visa, and then I will apply for my wife and daughter as dependants. Spelling wrong in 'Migrant's Employment-PhD' section

Hi Guys, The first question is that I have CoS starting date (Work start date) to be 18th March. We can apply 3 months before that? as the HO website says. My main question is the name of my spelling. It is according to my passport in the personal details. However, under Migrant's Employment-PhD ...

Hi, There is a chance the hike will take place not before 31st Jan. The reason is the debate is still in progress and the latest debate is on 10th Jan. If it is accepted on the same date, the implementation date will be pushed back to 31st Jan (21 days after) https://statutoryinstruments.parliament ...

Re: Switching to Tier2 from GR Visa for me and my family (I am in UK, they are abroad)

You can apply in the U.K. and they can apply from Pakistan. There is no need to return to Pakistan. Your applications are linked to your application by the fact you have to be granted first and they follow in line. Thank you for your answer. Here you mean that 'their applications...' ! So, we ...
