Passport and proof of nationality same thing?

Hi,

My checklist says I need:
1. Passport issued by Lithuania to Potato Tomato.
2. Potato Tomato's proof of Nationality.

Which is weird why there are two items in checklist? Doesn't passport apply for both? Because I lost my National ID card ages ago.

HMRC records are accepted as proof of residency for EU/EEA nationals. Do you know by any chance if it's something I need to ask them via phone (Employement history letter) or can do it myself? Because I can see in online PAYE section there is summary for each tax year, where I can print the page. I...
