My husband didnt sit the life in uk test however he did a citizenship course and got his certificate through college, is this the KoL you are referring to? Thanks.

Hey, quick question. If u already have ILR and will be applying for British citizenship after 29th of nov, do you then need to fulfill the new english requirement, cant seem to find the info on the website. Thanks.

Just missed our recorded delivery yesterday so went with my husband to pick up parcel at depot and I am very happy to say that our ILR has been granted :D

Finally 4 months on, the wait is over.

I just received a letter from home office yesterday stating we need to provide further evidence that me and my husband reside at the same address.

This might be due to us moving out of my parents flat to our own flat. However did send them documents from jan-march so thought this would be sufficient.

Thanks. I have had 2 of my relatives that have sent off their ILR's after ours and they have received their passports back within 3 and 4 weeks. Try not to stress if everything is ok your ILR will be granted. I put a note on my calender for 14wks (the time you are allowed to contact them to ask about progress of application) luckily we never got there it came at 5 wks it seems things are taking between 3 and 13 wks you cant stress that long...

You need to have your TB certificate just incase the immigration officer wants to see it.

It is also stated in your letter that you receive with your visa that you must carry the TB certificate.

My hubby applied on the 26th march and he was told on the 28th to collect his passport. I left for Pakistan after a week of his case being submitted, we collected the passport on the 29th of april and visa was stamped, we were lucky it took a month but now it seems its more waiting time unfortunetly...
