Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

The letter states on average it takes 23 months. So it can be shorter or longer. First threaten with your solicitor to go JR way. There are cases that they say they need more time even with JR threaten letter. And even if you go to JR way they may show proof that there is a valid reason your applica...

Re: Document list for Stamp 1 to Stamp 4 conversion after 5 years

I did it in police station as Im at outside of Dublin but for me no documents needed. Perhaps you can apply for stamp 4 renewal online and apart from usual documents you can send a cover letter explaining that you are eligible for stamp 4 as you were on work permit for 5 years straight. You need to ...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

They won't take IRP card in the ceremony. It's just signing of declaration of fidelity to nation and then swearing. So if your IRP is still valid after ceremony you can still use it to travel to and travel from Ireland. Ctizienshipinfo doesn't really answer the question about "what the hell am I sup...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

Has anyone from the most recent batch of e-vetting gotten approval yet and been asked to pay the fee? How long before the ceremony do they normally send out invitations? The next ceremony is "only" 56 days away, which really isnt that long when people need to organise time off work and hotel stays,...

Re: E vetting and citizenship application

Thank you for the quick reply, by final approval letter you mean the citizenship approval letter ? where you have to pay £950 ? apologies if my questions sound very basic. i have zero knowledge about the whole process. Yes. EVetting is the last stage. Next up (unless ISD asks for more documents) sh...

Hi,

What does ''Disclosure viewed'' means after ''Application process completed'' stage during e vetting process?

Regards
It means ISD viewed your disclosure. So from now on you should expect the final approval letter but don't know how long it would take.

Re: Long Term Residency Timelines

Not sure but maybe extra allowance from being away from the country? Instead of usual 6 weeks, it's up to 3 months I guess? Don't think there's any difference between Stamp 4 types in this regard (not counting EUFAM) - https://www.immigrationboards.com/post1968910.html#p1968910 . 6 week rule is imp...

Re: Submitting Old Passports

You need to prove 5 years of living in Ireland in past 9 years. So just send proofs (and including passports) for that 5 years. If any of your old passports has info for that duration also get them certified and send.

Someone needs to email the Minister or their local TD's or get FOI to lift the lid on this scam!
Why don't you do that yourself first?

Re: Applying for Passport after Citizenship Ceremony but before receiving Naturalisation Certificate

To give an update on this, dfa's website now asks for certificate number and date of certificate before you proceed with your application (it wasn't like that before). So it won't be possible to apply for passport actually without a naturalization cert. Also now, it says they do accept certificated ...
