Dear board members, with the grace of God I got my passport along with my wife and son today with ILR stamped on 23 Nov from Liverpool.

Posted on 11 August
Passport received on 28 November
Category SET (O) - Workpermit
Time - 15 Weeks + 2 days

Download the application from UKBA site, you will find answers for both
Q3 - Depends on the category - its on the form
Q5 - As far as I know all dependent over 18 years and the main applicant must pass Life in the UK test or equivalent

If I found a job and the employer wants to employ me, do I still need to go through the point system? coz I am unable to score 75 points?

Is there any other way to skip the point system?

Chnage of employer/job for work permit holder

Hi there, I am on a work permit since 2006 which runs out in 2011. In the mean while I want to chnage my employer/job, does the new point system will apply on me if I cange my employer, if so, I can only get 60 points. What is the right way to change my employer/job?
