Re: India Passport, Citizenship and PIO card: Surrender + Renunciation + Application

One of the required docs is original Indian passport but obviously I don't have that since its been surrendered. Is the receipt from surrender enough as...

The one I came to the UK on, the one with the travel vignette, is now expired. Do I need to send them that anyway as well as the current passport. O...

Travel question

hi, I applied for my naturalization in July'23, biometrics given on 7th July. Haven't heard back yet and obviously it's within the 6 month timeframe. I had a question about travel while my application is pending. I'm planning to leave the UK for 3 weeks in December over the Christmas break. Could so...

ILR - right to work proof

Hi guys, Just a quick question. I received my ILR last June, was asked this evening by my employer for a right to work code, so I logged into the UK Gov portal using my ILR BRP number and it still has my old work visa details, basically states that I can work only until May 23 (when my visa was supp...

Re: ILR Superpriority: no news

Hi, Is anyone facing delay or no update from Home Office on ILR applications submitted recently on super-priority? I had my biometric on 21-Jun-22 but haven’t had a decision in the last 10 working days. An additional document was asked for on 23-Jun which was furnished immediately. No news since. T...

Re: ILR Priority application received an update

Well, at least you got a reply. I applied more than a month ago now, super priority, no response, complete radio silence. Not clear that there is a queue or even that super priority/priority goes to top of the queue. No way to contact anyone or escalate. You just have to wait, its a complete mockery...

Did the post on ILR super priority processing delays get deleted

Can't seem to find it anymore, vivek212 and whereismyilr were primary contributors

Was looking for it to see if there were any updates on processing timelines,

I applied 10 days ago, haven't heard anything at all back from UKVI

Re: Super Priority service delay for ILR visa - April 2022

Thanks, please update us as and when there is info,

What a shambles, if they don't have capacity they should stop accepting super priority applications.

Taking thousands of pounds from applicants and then not delivering and not being contactable is ridiculous

Hi Vivek, whereismyilr,

Just checking if either of you heard back on your super priority application. I did mine a couple of days ago and haven't heard anything back

Trying to figure out how long it's taking now

Thanks

Re: Another 28 days question :)

Yes, thanks I appreciate that I know the question is asked daily and answered by the mods daily, I’ve done an extensive search, What we don’t get is replies from people that actually applied 28 days from the earliest visa date, which is what I was looking for - not further moderator confirmation. If...

Re: Another 28 days question :)

It’s a general question about Set O application timeslines, thanks.
Only tangentially connected to the dependent travel absences question asked earlier, so felt a separate post was fine - if unnecessary please feel free to delete
Thanks!

Another 28 days question :)

Hi, Just wanted to check if anyone has applied based on 28 days from the earliest date out of a) BRP b) entry vignette and c) actual entry? If so, did you get your ILR approved. There are a lot of questions about this and a lot of responses from moderators saying go for the earliest of the 3 dates, ...

Re: Date of entry and qualifying period for ILR

My understanding is that the visa is the BRP and so use the BRP date that works for all 3 of you less 28 days, so that would be 15/5/2017, so you should be able to apply starting 17/4/2022 for all 3 of you. The entry vignette is just a entry sticker to allow you to enter and collect BRP, it’s not a ...

Hi, Quick question and I rally appreciate your help. Filling up my wife’s dependent ILR application and wondering about absences. Her first BRP was issued in Apr 2017 through Apr 2020 and the second one was issued in July 2020 (Covid delayed extension). Obviously the second BRP was issued after 11 J...
