Waiting for replacement BRP.. need to travel urgently

Hello, I hold ILR status and I am a registered traveller. I am a non visa citizen. I am waiting for my replacement BRP because I lost it but I need to travel urgently. I did find it recently but I have already cancelled my brp. Online advice says I should have my brp with at the border. Passport gat...

Suffering consequences of EUSS refusal - help please

Hello, my EUSS as a partner was refused months ago as HO said I did not have a family permit. I was in the U.K. on another visa so I did not need to be on a family permit. I believe this decision was wrong, but I chose to just extend my current visa as the process for admin review was long. Now fast...

How to count the 5 working days priority service

Hello, I am wondering how to count the 5 working day processing timeline.

For example, if you submit an application on Monday around 5PM, is Tuesday then considered 1 working day?

Or is Monday considered 1 working day depending on what time the application is submitted?

Re: Skilled Worker Visa and emergency travel

I am just wondering if anyone has experienced this (where they traveled during a pending application and HO informed that it is now withdrawn)

Re: Are there consequences of an EUSS rejection?

Hi Kamoe, yes will look into this.

On alternative visa routes, they will ask "have you ever been refused remain to leave"?

Re: Are there consequences of an EUSS rejection?

Thank you for your advice Kamoe. Yes I think it is an admin error as well, I am leaning towards applying for a visa as there is a priority option (although it is more expensive) I just wanted to make sure a rejection is not a "black mark" on your record (especially if its not because of deception or...

Re: Are there consequences of an EUSS rejection?

I received a rejection due to a case worker error saying I do not have a family permit - I am now unsure if I should appeal or go on a visa as appeal takes such a long time

Are there consequences of an EUSS rejection?

If someone gets rejected for an EUSS application, are there consequences to consider? Assuming the reason for rejection is not because of deception, it is instead for example eligibility. For example will it be more difficult to get settled status or ILR, or future visa applications take longer? Has...

Is super priority available for SKW if you use ID Check App?

Is super priority available or is it only priority if we use the ID check app?

If we want to use super priority (not using ID check app), how do we check when the next available appointment is?

Re: ILR authorised absences and continuous period under skilled worker

Why do I see some posts that say if you leave the country when your employment with the sponsor has ceased then your leave is automatically curtailed? Or is that just wrong

Re: ILR authorised absences and continuous period under skilled worker

Thank you Zimba. May I ask if I had gone in and out of the country during that period when my employment had ended does that disrupt my continuous residence? Never got the curtailment letter or anything like that..

Re: Can durable partner get settled status without relevant document?

Thank you Kamoe, this is so helpful. In the guidance it says that a joining family member will qualify when they have completed 5 yrs of continuous residence after the specified date. What is the specified date? Pg.103 https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attach...

ILR authorised absences and continuous period under skilled worker

Hi All, I am looking at the 5 year ILR on a skilled worker visa (I have had two sponsors).Grateful if someone can advise on the below: In 2020 I worked remotely for 60 days, this was allowed by my sponsor. In December 2020 my employment ceased (my visa was valid until 2022), and in Feb 2021 applied ...

Re: Can durable partner get settled status without relevant document?

Thank you for replying. Then say my partner (partner has settled status) and I have been together for 6 years, and cohabited for 4 years. My residence has always been lawful for that period (student visa / skilled worker visa). Could I argue for settled status? If they were to give pre settled statu...

Can durable partner get settled status without relevant document?

Hello, I know the topic has been discussed before on whether a durable partner needs a relevant document. In appendix EU, this is listed: "where the person is applying as the durable partner of a relevant sponsor (or, as the case may be, of a qualifying British citizen), or as the spouse or civil pa...

Hi everyone, grateful if someone can advise on my situation: - Applicant: Non EEA. 10 years in the UK. 6 years on student, 4 years on skilled worker visa. Not on a family permit. - Sponsor: EEA. 8 years in UK. Exercised treaty rights prior to naturalisation as student and employee. Settled in 2020 v...
