You get £80 back, which is the ceremony fee. The rest you lose.
Neat business, should I say. Thank you for your help, CR001!

Re: Waiver for Life In the UK test

No, it is not always accepted and if that happens, UKVI requests the tests within a set timeframe, usually about 10 days, otherwise the application is refused and you lose the fee. Thank you! Just to be clear - do you lose full fee or the £80 mentioned above going towards the ceremony? it is a very...

Re: Waiver for Life In the UK test

To the best of my knowledge, no deductions are made to the application fee. If the application has gone past the biometrics stage, if the appplication is either withdrawn by the applicant or refused, the entire fee, except the £80 for the citizenship ceremony, is lost/kept by the Home Office. Pages...

Re: Waiver for Life In the UK test

Have a look at the form requesting for the exemption that needs to be filled in by a "General Medical Council registered medical practitioner who is able to comment on the individual's condition." (as it refers to a GMC registered medical practioner, I believe that includes GPs as well). ...

Due to her physical condition she is in receipt of (1) PIP (Personal Independent Payment), with a mobility element being paid, (2) a disability element on her Tax Credit payment and (3) Employment and Support Allowance, in which she ...

Re: Request passport return while EU SS Family Permit application is pending

Unfortunately this is a well known issue. The two things that you can do are: 1. Write to your MP, and ask them to escalate 2. Report this delay to the 3million here: https://www.the3million.org.uk/report-it None of the above guarantees any outcome, but the more people escalate and report, the more...

Request passport return while EU SS Family Permit application is pending

Hello Does requesting the passport while the EUSS Family Permit application is pending invalidate the application? Also, we have been waiting since mid June 2021 for the Permit for my mother in law. I complained to UKVI two times and received responses containing little by way of substance. They cla...

Re: EUSS status for family members - dependency

Such a request appears unlawful if you got the permit pre 30-06-2021. Could you please reaffirm that dependence continues to be assumed for purposes of a pre-settlement status application from inside the UK made on foot of an EU SS family permit applied for prior to 30/06/2021 outside the UK for wh...
