One UK national employee has a British passport but it is 'expired', will that work? She has a valid driver's licence though! I appreciate your response!

Sorry, I filled the ILR application through 5 year route, but no where it has asked when my employment began (it was on 6th Apr 2017). How will they know if I counted the time correctly? I filled in the date of entry in UK as 12 Apr 2013. Will it create a confusion for them? I am bit worried.
