hi there. my sister in laws spouse visa was granted on 6th feb 2009, she didn't enter the uk 24th april 2009. She is due to apply for ilr in 2011, however her visa runs out in feb 2011 and she would have not completed a whole two years, can we still apply for ilr or would we have to apply for an ext...

Work permit expired, visa still valid.

Posting for a friend.

His work permit was valid for 48 months from 6th Feb 06. Expired on 6th Feb 10.

However visa still valid, his visa was for 60 months. Is he still allowed to work, even though work permit expired? Visa's still valid. If not what steps does he need to take next.

spouse visa - ilr

when applying for ilr after 2 years on a spouse visa, if there is not enough documents/evidence, proof of living together you can apply for an extension and if an extension is granted how long will it be? 1 year or 2 years?

am i correct in understanding that there is no work permit being issued anymore? if someone need to make up 5 year for ilr they need to make up with applying hsmp? or can you get extension on work permit still?

So technically it shouldnt be a problem. And when it asks for whether you have recourse to public funds it should be ok to say no as WTC a CTC are not seen as recorse to public funds.... am i rite?

As far as I'm aware, you can apply for child tax credits & chuld benefit but you cannot apply for working tax credit. Reason being that the person making the working tax credit claim must be in employment of @ least 16 hours & 30 hours if they're 25 & over seeing as you clearly aren't working, then...
